This thread wouldn't be complete without a photo of Ronnie Mac's. FMF (Fredrick Mac Factory) CR 250 Smoker. Complete with "Power Band"

Now, if I can just find a picture......

^^ that particular CR250 was worth an astronomical amount of money^^

They also did a cr500af for him to race the 500 class with. it had an inch added to the swing arm. he won Namur with it.

My 07 RM250 with conventional forks.. :-)
Why?
Because I could :-)) Not really but because they worked unbelievable & were super super plush. Nothing works as good on a super rough outdoor track like a pair well set up conventional forks. I'm sure there are plenty guys on here that can back me up on this claim. I would've left them on but I bought an 05 RM250 with Pro Circuit Showa A kit stuff front & rear & I had it revalved for me & the stuff worked pretty damn good & looked trick as hell.

Wasn't it Pingree's bike that snapped the front end off when he severly cased a triple at a SX?

Happened to a buddy of mine on an '04 KTM 125 at Salem Arenacross. But he slammed nose first into a concrete wall...

I think I recall him slamming the front wheel to a dead stop on the third jump, a bit similar to the above hitting a concrete wall. One could suggest other bikes would have died the same way if given the opportunity...

This of course gave the KTM-bashers some fuel to their fire despite the severity of the impact...
