Someone posted a photo of Axell Hodges whipped upside down, racing "C" class. Everyone called him a sandbagger, at which point his big brother, Dirtshark, came on here to defend him. He informed us that we are all just jealous of a 16 year old and he "bangs chicks".
I haven't watched a Dirtshark video since, although the "Dirtshark" moto-meme was hilarious.
"Gets Monster spending account......girls finally talk to him"
I talked to one pro recently who told me he made far more money as an amateur than he has after turning pro. Between various companies paying him "travel expenses" and contingencies, he was scoring big. You can't really blame some of the guys for wanting to hang out in the amateur ranks for a long time.
As for Pro/Am, and regular pro, you get that there's a difference, right?
Pit Row
2/3rds of the way down the page "defcon media"
You guys are all stupid as hell.
1. Axell doesn't train with MC
2. He only has one bike which he practices and races on.
3. His parents don't blow money on him. He gets sponsors cause he rides fast which most of you goons should try someday and stop complaining about some 15 year old.
4. He travels across the country to races in a 1985 Dodge Van loaded with one bike, one gear bag, him and his dad.
5. He doesn't spend 24/7 riding. He goes to school, lays bitches, and has a social life.
6. You all need to f**k off cause he races schoolboy now, so go find some other fast kid who you wish you were or want to be and bag on him.
If I understand the rules correctly below as stated in the AMA rulebook.
SECTION 1.4
MOTOCROSS PRO/AM MEETS
A. Purpose
To provide events giving riders a transition from the amateur to
professional level by earning advancement points toward a
professional license.
B. Classes
The following is the complete class listing of approved Pro/Am
classes for AMA Pro/Am events.
Class Engine size
250cc 122cc - 250cc
Open 122cc - open
C. Rider Eligibility
1. Amateur and youth classes: AMA amateur and youth
eligibility rules apply.
2. The 250 and 450 Pro/Am motocross classes are open to
any AMA-licensed pro rider or eligible amateur A class
rider.
It also states in the National Advancement system the following:
5. Riders who participate in a higher-level classification at
any AMA or non-AMA track will be considered as
advanced to that classification.
So clearly this would automatically make him ineligible for the B class in this years racing. Correct me if I'm wrong.
