I purchased a DNA wheelset for my 2010 yz250f. The problem I am having is that the rear axle does not fit. I believe that Yamaha went to a larger diameter axle for 2009.

I have looked at DNA and other manufacturers websites and all of them show rear wheel fitment from 02-11 models.

I sent an email to DNA yesterday, but being as it was Saturday I dont expect to hear back yet.

What am I missing? Do I have the wrong wheel? Will this wheel work somehow? Im sure there must be someone out there that has put aftermarket wheels on a 2010 yz250f that can help!

I really want to make this work because the black hubs and blue rims will look oh so good!

I think Yamaha went to a larger axel in 2009 and years following so you are right. It might be possible to change the wheel bearings and center tube out.

I just want to add that I got a response from DNA today and they are sending me the parts to make this wheel work on my bike. I just want to give credit where credit is due, they have great customer service.

Wow, not my experience! I had a horrible time with their customer service.

Mine are about 2 years old. They are black with red hubs on a Honda 450. The front rim (only the front, back is still fine) has faded horrible. Looks gold now. They won't warranty then. If you want your bike to look good (and you do or you wouldn't be looking at wheel sets) don't buy DNA. Bearings are garbage also. Not a good experience for me.
