Water sucked into air box

Hello, the title basically says it all water got into my air box on my crf250 and I am looking for advice on what to do. Thanks

Hopefully you used a good filter oil that is water resistant. Pull your filter and look down the air boot for dirt. Even better, pull your subframe and look at the carb, both sides. Maybe you got lucky and didn't pull any dirt down. How much water went in? Did you drown it out riding trails or just hitting water riding motos?

During a Moto but I got lucky I think I drained the carb and I might not have problems. Thanks for the help tho

Kids dad changed the oil and filter let her dry out for the day and raced the next day...

Pull your filter off, if there isn't any gunk or dirt in your air boot then just slap the filter back on, drain your carb and replaced your oil then keep on riding. If there is some of the nasty in that air book, then smack yourself for not greasing your air filter.. then pull the carb off, give er' a cleaning and then check to see if there is dirt in the intake boot. If theres dirt there.. then uh oh.
