I learned from a young age that if you want something bad enough you better work for it. My father wasn't made of money so I started working in the local shop to pay for my parts; tires, chains and sprockets, top ends, etc. I learned that my money was better spent on bike parts and not booze or pot. I learned that quitting sucks. It's better to stay out on the track, continue to push hard and get last than to quit.
