So whats the deal with this new tire? I can't really find anything on it. Anyone use it? Like it? Not looking for a "I use x-brand tire" thread. Just want the details on this tire please. Thanks

So far it only comes in a front. Dunlop claims the FA to be lighter and have more knob volume compared to the MX-51, i plan on buying one soon to see the real difference for myself comparing it to a regular MX51.

I have a stock MX51-FA on my "13" CRF450, and a new spare MX51-F in my garage. Side by side they look identical. Weight wise I can't compare. I ran a MX51-F on my "08" and didn't care much for it. D756 and D755 were much better. My "13" corners and handles so much better it's real hard to find any faults in the FA so far. Give it a one thumb up.

I used one with a mousse tube back in January in a 250 mile long desert race. Great traction and it looked to be In decent shape considering the beating it had just gone through. I can't say how it will handle on a mx track but I would definitely recomend this tire.

I went and got one so we'll see what it does on a 2-stroke on mostly harder packed northeast tracks. Atleast till it gets warmer and they can dig it deeper.

Bring your mulch tires. that place is 100% woodchips now. Just rode there a couple days ago. you have to look hard to find any dirt. I used to love that place. Sad.

I was there this weekend too. It def did get rough. I didn't mind that. What I hate is the ridiculously hard and slick under-bases all tracks have this time of year. It doesn't mix well with the snappiness of my 2-stroke against the 450's. Hoping new sneakers help with that. First practice was awesome though in that thick stuff. You could just bury the bike hard and twist it as hard as you could. Its when tracks are like that when I remember why I love to ride!
