It really sucks that Kyle Chisholm injury will side line him for the rest of the SX season.
I would like to see Tyler get a chance to move over to SX and hop on a Factory Yamaha
to show that he's a top 10 rider.
Could he, would he, walk away from the Arenacross series, and championship for a chance
to race the rest of the SX series with JGR/Toyota Yamaha?

I thought he just signed up for another two years with the team he currently rides for.

x2 He will likely get a pretty decent bonus for winning the AX championship too. He could forget that if he changed venues.

He is done in 2 weeks with AX. He could possibly be available after the season finishes up in Denver. His contract with Babbitts is for AX only correct?

He should go to SX. He's a big fish in a small pond in AX. I guess he likes it that way. Whatever he wants I guess.

He has tried SX and didnt fair too well.

He would be giving up a lot of money in the AX series to come to SX and not get much in return.

And JGR has to have a rider on their bike after Daytona. I wonder who will get the call.

Wish it was Stroupe, I'd love to see that guy back at it.

Man he sure does have some talent and he can look at Izzi and see that if you work hard and keep grinding it will pay off.

Hopefully he can make that return. He just has to want it.

I'd imagine between his salary, bonus structure, and championship bonus Bowers' income would put to shame just about anyone racing a 250F in SX right now and even most of the 450 class. Why on earth should he leave that? The dude found a niche and damn good on him for taking advantage of it. I applaud anyone who actually comes away from the sport richer than when they started. Not even guys finishing in the top 10 in 450 SX can claim that.

I guess he did this to his collarbone 3 weeks ago. He had surgery just days before the Little Rock round and still raced. I would think getting through AX would be his only goal at this point. I would love to see a year with his only focus on SX I think he would be a surprise.

He broke his collarbone before the first round of the race to the championship (when they reset the points). That's why he was a bit off his usual pace that weekend. He wrote on Twitter he wanted to do some SX but couldn't prepare do to the injury.

Did anyone race with a freshly plated broken collarbone before? I know Dungey let his title hopes go because of he got his plated last year...

My guess is that JGR would prefer someone with Yamaha affiliation and/or experience. I'd guess that's also what Yamaha would want.

Jimmy Albertson raced about 2 weeks after he got his collarbone plated in beginning of 2008 I believe. Correct Holeshot100?
