More peformance.

I own a 2004 crf250x with a fmf powercore 4 and a powerbomb header, a twin air filter, it has also had stainless steel valves fitted. what can i do or buy to get more peformance out of my bike?

Remove the screen from the air filter cage or buy a no toil or twin air screenless filter kit. add a tooth or 2 on the rear sprocket, hc piston, deck the head, or buy a new leftover 11 oe 12 model 250f, great deals out there, really all depends on your budget. and if you can afford it vp u4.4 or renegade sx race fuel ls great stuff. And is the x model the enduro honda right? check thumper talk also in the forum section , good luck

Thanks dude, yes it is the enduro model but my cousin used to own a crf250r and there is virtually no difference

From what i know and was told my some good engine builders. Head mods are better than a big bore kit.using stock parts. No extra weight or stress on oem parts. The big bore is heavier. Therefore more stress and wear on oem crank etc.. check racerx they had just posted a big bore rmz 250. Looked good though. It all comes down to your budget man. Your gonna start spending money. Make sure ur suspension is dialed.fresh tires.chain sprockets brake pads cables brake lines and seat time is price less.

What type of head mods could i get done, what do you mean by decking out my head? it has already had new valves and seats

Check with some engine builders for more detailed answers. 11/10 mods does great honda work. Email chad. He knows his stuff

Most of the stock exhausts on those enduro models really hold them back. Maybe look for a take off from the mx version if it will fit.

All comes down to budget. But i was not sure of his budget. Carb mod
Camshaft. Igntion all good mods w a race pipe. . Lotta money to drop on a 9 year old enduro bike though. Imo if u can afford a new leftover 11 or 12 model. Thats the ticket.
