In my dreams I would like to see the MXDN there!
DC said (after seeing herlings race at valkenswaard) that herlings could race southwick and win both classes
Well of course, ultimately the question we don't know is.... if he'd had to, could Tony have beaten Jeffrey if they'd completed the first lap together side by side (or with Jeffrey at least with a top 10 start)? Admittedly it's impossible to know for sure until they face off again. But I just can't quite get over how much time Jeffrey took out of Tony. The more you re-watch the race the less and less believable it is; even with AC not giving his all. I think in the end JH ran out of steam and sure, no doubt AC upped his game just enough.
On the other hand....name one person that had Ricky covered EVER if Ricky didn't make his own bad luck. Dave
As 2strokerider said, Sebastian and Robbie both spring to mind. But of course I agree Ricky was amazing. I don't know how he'd fare round a place like Lommel in his prime (or how James Stewart would today) but everywhere else he was phenomenal.
AMA Motocross has an open invitation to Herlings. Tomac and Baggett are waiting.
Pit Row
i dont think anyone else has put it to the top mx1 guy AC this year and ama450 guy RV (last year in france) at just making 18
and one of the 2000 mx des nations motos where tortelli finished the deal
also 99 glen helen ..... that moto reminds me of lierop this year with JH on another planet
should have kept that #44
