herlings hands down its stupid how easy he makes it look, southwick is like hard pack compared to belgium but i got to say i think the americans would fair better if they had more DEEP sand tracks but still not on par with someone who was born in the sand, like said before to come from last and to pass gp and ama riders like they were stood still is amazing

That track is indeed Mol aka De Keiheuvel. Very hard track! It's pity that I haven't this with English commentary

Why don't they hold the Belgium GP there now?

Giving a GP costs allot of money and they are making the local club is making some money with the organization of a round in the Belgian Championship. I also don't know for sure if it is still possible with the "greenies" because this track is in the dunes and with parking space and stuff like that.

In my dreams I would like to see the MXDN there!

No doubt Cairoli is also very good as we all know. But the fact Jeffrey was even able to catch him at all, broke the laws of reality. It was insane how much time he was taking out of everybody and there's not a rider in the world other than Herlings who could track down a holeshotting Cairoli round Lommel after crashing round the first turn and starting in almost dead last. OK he didn't win. But considering the above he had no business winning. The fact he got anywhere near the lead is in itself ridiculous.
Just remember......AC didn't NEED to ride that hard so why should he. He's a smart dude....he knew when Herlings was close and picked up the pace.....why would he ride 3-4 sec faster if he didn 't need to? On the other hand....name one person that had Ricky covered EVER if Ricky didn't make his own bad luck. Dave

To all the people saying RC, who would win out of Herlings vs RC if they were both 18?

And if it was at a "real" sand track?

If Bane was born in the darkness, Jeffrey Herlings was born in the sand.
Well, Herlings should come to Southwick which is an EASY sand track and shut everyone up.....no?

he wants to race southwick, he's said it a few times (ktm wouldnt let him last year) - do you think he wouldnt win at southwick?

DC said (after seeing herlings race at valkenswaard) that herlings could race southwick and win both classes

Some places are sandier than others. In the U.S., we call them "beaches" and scantily clad women walk around on them. In tiny little, over-developed European countries you call them "race tracks" because there really is nowhere else to build a track.

Belgium has 5 tracks in the entire country? Such a shame. Shame, indeed.
Well, Belgium is a tiny country after all. Not much room for race tracks.

Well of course, ultimately the question we don't know is.... if he'd had to, could Tony have beaten Jeffrey if they'd completed the first lap together side by side (or with Jeffrey at least with a top 10 start)? Admittedly it's impossible to know for sure until they face off again. But I just can't quite get over how much time Jeffrey took out of Tony. The more you re-watch the race the less and less believable it is; even with AC not giving his all. I think in the end JH ran out of steam and sure, no doubt AC upped his game just enough.

As 2strokerider said, Sebastian and Robbie both spring to mind. But of course I agree Ricky was amazing. I don't know how he'd fare round a place like Lommel in his prime (or how James Stewart would today) but everywhere else he was phenomenal.

AC222 and Herlings at this moment.

AMA Motocross has an open invitation to Herlings. Tomac and Baggett are waiting.

I have seen the races. What you have failed to realize is that RC has a next gear. He has proven it through his career. Seb couldnt keep RC in sight in 2002. Lets not forget 2003...... and so on
