I watched the most resent episode of Inside The Outdoors for about the third time and I still find it hard to believe that Larry actually put Shorty in a headlock after the Vegas supercross. Guess he really is passionate about his job.

After I heard that, I thought about a situation that is going at an Idaho university. A coach pushed his star wide receiver down to the ground during a practice session and was caught on film. The student is sueing the school and the coach has been put on suspension until this is all ironed out. Needless to say, they butted heads to begin with and the coach has a 'colorful' past as well.
Anyways, there's a fine line with that type of shit. If my boss came over to my desk and put me in a headlock and all the other extracurriculars that supposedly occured, well, actually, I don't know what I'd do, but I sure as shit wouldn't ride for him, I mean work for him anymore.

No respect. Both are adults, Short isn't some punk kid.

Larry didnt do what he promised Short when he signed with the team. Short didnt get paid for a while according to him.

I wonder how Larry would feel if Short put him in a head lock because he didnt perform as a team manager?

People would be singing Short's praises! All in all, Brooks is a racer turned team manager/owner. To get that team out on the road the past few years has had to be a major f'n effort and I'm guessing his ass is pretty stressed to say the least. He popped a cork maybe, it happens. Like he said, Short's bigger than him and could have turned the tables pretty quick if he had wanted...LOL

I understand he was under a huge amount of pressure, so was Short especially when he wasnt getting paid as promised. And he is lucky Short isnt a firey kind of guy, a wired mouth is no fun.

Just like someone else said, if Shorts wife or family member saw that and took legal action there would go everything they both worked hard for.

Its a matter of respect and that obviously isnt a priority for Brooks.

He said he did the headlock thing, which to me was not that big of a deal as Short could have crushed him but the way he went on about Short not being a winner was like school in the summertime if ya ask me.
