Well guys I am indeed back on an early flight back home after a bit of a rough weekend!! It started off well this week with me being able to ride a bit more than I have been so that was nice. We get to Washougal and with it being the last race for a few weeks all I wanted was to just survive it and be able to go into the break healthy and ready to ride, well I am healthy but didn’t get the results I was looking for or the luck to go with it. After practice I was a stellar 13th gate pick ( sarcasm). In the first Moto I indeed got my usual mid pack start and worked my way into 8th but struggled with the track and my bike, so we made some changes and got things sorted for Moto 2. As I get out of the gate I began to wheelie like Doug Domokus!! Now I’m back to my usual 18th rounding out the first lap, so I begin charging up the to the top 10 and get to Balbi, now I don’t know if I shut my passing button off but I was stuck behind him for what seemed like a lifetime. After being a human rock catcher for the better part of 10 minutes I feel something going a little funny in the rear end of the bike, a few laps later bam!!! I make my way to the Mechanics area for a tire change, now we all know that is pretty much the end of your day when we do that, so indeed it was the end of mine. So now like I said I am on my way back home and cant wait to get back to work and get things more sorted with me and the bike. My little buddy Wil Hahn is coming out so we can push each other and also work on things to get both of us the better results we want. We both rode quite a bit in Florida together and it worked really well for the both of us to start out the outdoor season so we are looking forward to doing the same again only this time in Cali. Thanks to all who are supportive and motivating but I am going to be working hard so that 3 rounds are my best of the year.

sorry to hear all that Sean, I love how you give us updates every week from the races. I wish lots of other riders would do the same. Get out their and kick some ass and tell Wilbur he needs to step it up for the Texas boys

Just stay focused and do what you know how to do. Just keep it simple and do not over think anything. Just train and ride. Then come in to Millville with the same attitude you did at Glen Helen.

You and Wilbur riding together will be good for both of ya. As I'm sure you know, he can haul, just needs a little seasoning.

Sean, was the track as one line as a lot of the fans are saying? Good ride. Bad luck with the rear tire. If you slowed to my speed, you wouldn't have had to pull off. Laughing

Thanks for the update, good luck and enjoy your break (or work your butt off twice as hard, haha)!

Question for ya...what do you think it will take to get that start you are looking for?

Hey Sean

Nice attitude as always.

For those not there. It was this close for a few laps. Balbi is a road block sometimes.

Then when I think Sean will make the pass the next lap, he doesn't come by. Damn tires.
All those square edge bumps I thought there would be more flats.

For all of you who posted here that you have some good pic's... Quit bogarting and post em up.
