How is Gordon an idiot? Looked like he didn't start it right?

Somebody bring me up to speed.

Four-time champion Jeff Gordon was docked 25 points, fined $100,000 and placed on probation through the end of the year for intentionally wrecking Clint Bowyer in Sunday's AdvoCare 500 at Phoenix International Raceway

He's an Outlaw now! He's on PED's! I think Clint is my new favorite driver, they should do a charity boxing match. I was laughing when they said they were holding Jeff back, from getting an ass whipping is all. Clint would put a 5 hour ass kicking on him. They should use that in the commercial, show him hunting, interviewing, then jumping on Jeff. lol.

I think its BS that those NASCAR people docked Jeff a damn thing. They have built their ENTIRE sport around the notion of racers hitting each other and taking each other out. Thats what all the pot bellied, beer guzzling, inbred & gaptoothed fans go to see ! "Rubbins' Racin' " , "Fender Rash", "Swappin' Paint", "Get er Done", The Intimidator, all that hoaky crap that the sheep like to chant. I dont follow that sedative-racing, but from what I saw that other dude hit Jeff earlier on and it was just a little payback.

To be fair, he did win $117k for 30th place at the races so the fine doesnt seem all that steep

I agree with Racer. Not a Gordon fan at all but, Bowyer squeezed him up high a couple laps prior. NASCAR loves this shit. Especially, since Brad has a pretty good lead on Johnson going into Homestead. Anything to put asses in the seats. Also, alot of local racers around the Moorsville/Kannapolis area all say Gordon is a pretty tough little bastard and not one to mess with. Not sure I believe it but, that`s the rumor.

Well it had to happen sooner or later but Racer92 is wrong. NASCAR does a great job handling this stuff, Jeff lost his mind, took out other drivers in the process. the previous incident was just racing and it almost looked like Jeff wrecked himself, right after the contact he either drives down on Clint again or damage to his car made him do it, then he wrecks. I'm glad there is the NASCAR, the driver personalities and the free league makes it pretty fun, I think 92 likes the NASCAR he is just fronting so his hater buddies will accept him.

Im not fronting for anyone and I dont hate NASCAR. I just think its the most boring 'racing' ever invented and my reasons come from being around dirt track sprint car racing since I was a kid. Im biased and I admit it. Open wheel racers believe in winning with talent not with 'rubbin' because if you touch, you destroy race cars and/or get killed. Plus, when you are used to race cars that have 750+ horsepower and weigh 1300lbs, you have full-tilt-boogie racing literally from flag-to-flag, and find it hard to get revved up watching 3400lb barges lumber around for hours.

I admire the science they put into those rolling billboards, and I admire the skill the top-10 guys have to drive them that long/fast and not smack the wall. But to me its incredibly boring to watch.

Some Neckcar races are boring! But I like it, can't get into road racing or those funny delicate cars that you can't bump with. I really just wanted to throw your lure back into the boat and get you to hit it. I knew what you was going to say.

Nascar isnt boring when you know whats going on. Its more than "just turning left", it takes skill, focus and determination just like any other form of racing. If it didnt take skill why is Ambrose and Montoya in NASCAR? Its challenging. Dont be suprised if more road racers come to NASCAR looking for a challenge.

I like it but its boring at times, even my hard core fan friends will say that, Atlanta was a snozer this year! I agree with the rest you said though. They should make a all dirt NASCAR season!

Know whats going on? You think I dont know whats going on in those things? I used to have a go-kart, I am an expert !

The reason for drivers going to NASCAR is about paychecks.

Just because you drive a rascal doesn't make you a NASCAR expert.

Rascal? Pffft, Im on a customized Lark baby ! Sporting a splayed 360 with a zero deck, JE Forged ultralights hooked to some Oliver h-beams, and an internally balanced Eagle ultralight 4340 with NO mallory metal added to come in to balance! Topped with a nice set of aluminum AFRs @ 235cc all chambers burette matched and all short-side radius' removed then measured on a SuperFlow-110 @ 10" of water. Inside is a UltraDyne roller specially worked up by Harold Brookshire himself in a one-off grind, some nice Ferrea swirl polished 2.05s with titanum retainers & locks and held in place by a Moroso stud girdles. (of course all installed-heights shimmed and all stems matched) Throw in a Cloyes gear drive and a rev-kit to keep them roller rockers from bouncing of that killer ramp-rate and your golden! All of that going out thru a 9" Ford nodular chunk & Daytona pinion, with Polydyn'd Richmond gears & 28-spline Moser axles!

I give up. No wait I don't! You guys are wrong, it's no different than in MX, you can go under someone and even park them, but you can't cut across the track and hit them head on. There's a fine line there and NASCAR does pretty good with it.. And Clint is cool man, all smiling and shit on that 5 hour trip, He would be like all smiling and hitting Jeff in the head. My new favorite driver.
