CLS certainly seem to have gone about it a rather underhand way, but if I were Dixon I would consider Leib a perfectly good replacement for Tonus.
rule 1: find yourself a manager and trainer from the Benelux
(Strijbos and or van Horebeek etc. have factory contracts while there are better riders Imo, contacts that's the point!

Rule 2: rent a apatement or postal adress in Belgium (favorable tax rules compared to Holland)

Rule 3: during the week sand training in Holland (Nicholls has improved sins staying here)

50 + tracks within an hour, almost every GP engine and suspension tuner, wholesalers and manufacturers etc are stationed here, better stay close to the fire!
two international airports within an hour and European airport Eindhoven within 30 min

Dutch and Belgians are multilingual raised (three or more languages ​​is no exception here)

Damn, only just noticed this thread and I'm sorry to read this.

Seems unfair to Michael and also, from a selfish pov (unless he can find another good ride), it's going to make next years championship even more predictable.

It sucks major ass that this has happened to the lad and hope he gets something sorted, my initial response of his deal was of shock (like most I presume) and was not convinced he was right for the seat from the get-go though. I reckon Tonus is going to give them a much better chance at the title which is what they want - actually very surprised that Tonus left Steve but hey ho there we go.

Good luck Michael - get to the UK like 338 and see something positive happen for your future

2013 is already pretty predictable - or at least as predictable as Moto can be. I doubt Lieb will/would have changed the outcome regardless of team.

Off topic look for Nicholls and Butron, possibly Teillet for strong results if he stays fit, and I feel Tonkov is about to step right up to the plate next year.

I suppose that's most probably true, it's difficult to see anyone matching Jeffrey. But still it's another fast guy possibly not out there next year, which certainly won't help the racing.

- Michael signed a contract three months ago.
- His contract does not start till Jan 1st 2013.
- He has and is willing to see a doctor of their choice to prove that the Epstein Barr is gone.
- He has got a 100% clean bill of health and is training.
- CLS simply wanted Tonus and thinks that they found a way for Tonus to get out of his contract with Dixon. Dixon has his own point of view and Tonus and CLS are in for a fight with Dixon.
- Michael's contract is very clear and there is no breach on Michael's part.
- Bottom line is CLS locked up Michael effectively taking him off the market here and in Europe. To cut him lose now is completely unacceptable and just plain wrong.
- What's going to happen is anybody's guess at this point.
Even if they changed their mind I suppose it would be hard to continue a professional relationship with the team. What a bummer! It would be interesting to see the contracts. If they can fire riders "so easily" there have to be loopholes. Either that or riders just don`t follow through and sue the teams for breach of contract. Where are the agents in all of this?

Results? Speed for a few laps doesn't pass for a GP level rider,90% will not match that but considering that only 2% actually make the grade he's in a not a marketable item, hence Johnsson, Norlen,Thuresson ,fast in the small pond but not in the 2%.Tvarr!

Podium must be in 2% on Llongo starting gate?(Yam tested first practice session) He was making top 15 and i recall a few top ten on the slowest bike on earth (Husky) Is that not GP level? Don't know if there is more to the story other than ML just being sick?

But, if that is all there is to it, that just plain sucks. The kid is fast, crazy fast. He has proven it with sx alone, and he did win Loretta's, don't forget! I know he can kill it over the pond, and I thought that now he was going to be on a top tier team that he was going to prove to everyone what he is made of.

I admire your ability to write and no doubt speak English, its the constant bashing of KTM, Husqvarna, Youthstream, Guiseppe Luongo etc that I have an issue with.

You don't seem to write a reply to anything without making a negative remark about something or other.

If I've got you wrong then I apologise, but I can only comment on what I read.

If you have to drive home from Austria to Sweden (24 h and ferrycosts) with rider promised to race next weekends MX3 German Gp and they make a turnover because a mail is 24h late.(Swede fed person had internetproblems) When you see results and there is missing 6 riders on gate same weekend you probably also would be a little.........upset? When some riders got wildcard for free and some has to pay 1200 euro cash without receipt to Youthstream in a backdooroffice you suddenly realized that Youthstream doesn't give a s....t about Mx sportmanship only your money at all costs. Husky get me going because of constantly f...g young riders and their familys effort with sometimes houseloans etc by refuse to pay money they promised. (Even if you become 5th in World championship and podium every now and then)for example Llongo is the man behind the plan that every single talented privateer in Europe NEVER being able to ride on highest level. KTM is just breaking down often on higher level all time and everybody singing halleluja anyway? Those particular things spinn my wheels and yes i mostly overreact and i often wonder why i even bother to reply. I even wonder why i sit behind computer sometimes at all, but hey if you are a MX nerd involved in MX?...same as you i guess? And have a opinion? Ps The "stratmoney" took us to the next race. Got to love'em. Mediumrider euro in France got 300 Euro for startingmoney-86. Bad boyz got 1000-2500 if they where on factorybikes (Highlevel riders) I'm waaaaaay out of topic now...Sorry!
