What makes you think he wouldn't have struggled and crashed neither? Who is the Lites champ? Stewart? He would have fell mounting on his bike. Come on, be proud of them, it's now they need your support. Pfff, Villopoto, Stewart, Dungey. Who would ride the 250F and sandbag?

Je suis tres fier de nos hommes. C'est sympa que je ne suis pas le seul. Comme on dit aux etats unis "There is always next year"

Next year will be another story for sure...

Before clipping the tree at Southwick, he had just closed like a 15sec lead by Bagget in 3-4 laps. Straight whupped everyone at Texas too. Stewart? Would have made no difference. Bubba 2006-2008 was otherworldly outdoors and one bad mofo in sand but then he decided to go SX only. Hope he makes it outdoors again next year.

About Tomac, you may be right concerning his sand riding skills but he faded at some races this past season, it might had a role in RDC's choice.
My goal wasn't to bash on anyone, I guess you understood that, I just can't stand people who cheer for riders before the event and then turn their back if the guys fail. As said in another, these three would be favorites each year...

The US were beaten by the TRACK, period. If JH was the all-round MX god then how come Tommy Searle showed him the way home on more than one occasion this season ?
This was more of a beach race than a motocross race, i never EVER expected team US to come to terms with that.
I still thought there was a chance for them with consistant top ten placings but i couldn't see any other way for them.
I'm NOT American but i'm objective enough to realise why we were never gonna see the best of team USA.
However this should give the GP countries a real boost in confidence going forward.
I'm gonna make the trip to Germany next year where i fully expect to see a very different story. Although i hope this is the start of a European resurgence.
