I think most people are missing the point here, it was a sign posted autograph session!
And (apparently) he was just standing there. Not hurt or missing, just standing there.
It also wasn't at the practice track or on ' his own time' when things could go either way.
If said incident is factual, then that is disgraceful for josh and everyone else involved.
I would say that is part of his 'job' and must be done wether he likes it or not.

In line with keeping this thread positive I have a contribution

Vegas supercross back in the day and I waited in line to meet MC. We finally get up to Jeremy and we exchange pleasantries, and take a picture and I start to walk off. Just pumped that I met someone I admired so much. Then I hear "dude! Let me sign a poster for ya!" while laughing. I came back and he asked my name and signed a poster for me. I was still a young guy at the time and asked him about nac nac advise. MC didn't skip a beat while signing the poster and said "how are your whips? And then started into some sacred tips. I shook his hand and walked off. I had a disposable camera (it was a long time ago) and spent the evening looking for a one hour photo on the strip (which I never found). MC was cooler then the other side of the pillow to a young fan. I won't ever forget that.

I've never had a bad experience meeting any of these guys. I'm older now, so I don't go around wanting to meet riders, but still. RC, Reed, Pastrana, Emig, ect could not have been nicer to us. Funny how I always seem to run into Travis when he was in town for the US Open. You can always pick out the really tall kid who walks arou d with a limp and spends all of his time shaking hands and kissing babies!
