I saw that the other day. Looks like about six feet of stinger pipe on it. Not knowing a whole lot about the workings of expansion chamber tapers, diameters and lengths there is no telling whatsoever how that pipe would run. They made it so the silencer would mount way out back by the seat bolt so you know it's going to look a little odd. Jemco in Houston made the one on my Steve Wise bike. The silencer is small and tucks in behind the number plate in the airbox area so that is an area that has to be addressed.

Who knows! Try it and see. If it doesn't work, there's a good chance someone else will buy it!

I have three correct Mugen replica silencers that I never was able to get the pipes for. Would gladly sell one if you wanted to mod that pipe to accept it.

I have one I am willing to sell. I put it on my 1976 125. I rode it only 1 time.. Just a few laps I had to. The mugen replica has a lot on top end speed. I am willing to sell mine along with the modified lower rear fender section and modified Gold DG head. My kit includes up pipe aluminum silencer DG head rear fender section that is almost new from VMX. I painted the pipe Black.

Here you go. Rob has it mislabeled on his website. Notice the painted silencer? Exact match for the one above. A company in Florida was supposed to replicate the pipes 100% accurate but it never happened. Unfortunately I had already purchased three of the silencers and was on the list for three of the pipes.

Looks like you are going to be a bit high in the saddle there!! What length are they? You can only go so high with those bikes before

1) They just start to look goofy.

2) They are too tall.

The tall seat on the 76 model has to be addressed when you start increasing the travel on them. Get up to the 9-10 inch travel area and you can't straddle the bike. Look at putting a 74-75 seat on it at that point. This thing is proving to be a challenge to get 9 inches out of and not have it look stupid or having to butcher up a $2500.00 chromoly frame any more than I've already had to.

I think they are 14". I will have to measure them again later today. They are the shocks that were on flashptA10's bike above. He was running them on a stock swingarm though. I know Thor Lawson makes internal spacers for them to shorten the travel in 1/8" incraments up to 1/2". ?????

Hey Hubbard
I would put the tank, wheels and seat on with that swing arm along with the bars. I used ATV bars on mine which were a little talller. Looking at the pics of my bike and your set up. They look very close, the shock bottoms are right at the foot peg height. Those shocks worked great with the stock swing arm. I really didnt notice any flex in the swing arm which some claimed back in the day. Here is the stock bike with stock shocks and swing arm.
