I picked up a Smith and Wesson MP15 Sport about a two months ago and love it so far! Shot about 500 rounds so far.

Its the cheaper $640 model that has no dust cover or forward assist. Which I read that even soldiers don't use the forward assist and I like the look without the dust cover.

Upgrades:
-Tapco buttpad for the stock
-Hogue rubber grip, so nice!
-Magpul 20 round mag, Which rifle gear converts to 10 rounds per CA law ;(

I going to stick with the iron sights for awhile instead of spending bank on optics. My brother already bought $350 scope before he even got his Sig M400 even in lol

Once I turn 21 in a month I will pick up a 1911 hehehe
Probably this one:

That is really cool. Have you gotten used to the mag removal trick? That is to say the days of just pushing a button are gone and they came up with the trick for lack of a better term.

Yea the bullet button sucks for sure but at the range its not too bad. I just use a plastic chamber flag.

I have heard there is tons of tricks to bypass them but I think its not worth the risk for me.

The law is quite stupid if you think about it, any1 who is going to use the gun for a crime won't mind taking the two minutes to switch it to a normal mag release.

Just like the 10 round law, There's tons of 30 round mag kits on the internet....

Laws r just for law abiding citizens, criminals don't mind breaking the law hence their name hahhahahha

Who would have thought that my M1 Garand would ever be considered a fast loader by comparison. We can always hope that somebody sane will repeal that stupid mag law.

Have you had any trouble using steel ammo through it ?My DCM-XR only shoots brass ,im guessing its because of the tighter tolerances of the competition rifles .Amazing shooter for sure , 5 rounds in a pie plate at 300 yards with no scope. My brother is a marine and said thats nothing to proud of but i think its great.

I haven't shot steel cases through it cause my local range won't allow it. Otherwise I would be shooting wolf ammo for like $200 for 1000 rounds. I have heard of good things from the new wolf that's polymer coated instead of the old lacquer.

I am going to buy bulk 1000+ brass rounds soon so if any of your got any deals let me know.

I have heard great things about spike!

If you are 21 or older I would recommend building it your self. You save money and get to chose everything from the get go.

Anyone do any black powder shooting? Here is a match I do once per year. First shot is looking back from almost the furthest target. The shooting location is not the white covered roof in the middle of the pic, it is at 2 o'clock from there. The second shot is looking at the targets.

I just started shooting black powder this past year, nothing crazy but i picked up a CVA 50 cal. apex that shoots very well ,or should i say very well for my intended purpose ,which is whitetail hunting. 100-150 yards and closer i have complete confidence in any shot. Nothing long range that you do . Im shooting 100 g of Black Horn and 295 shockwaves.

Sweet!
Congrats on the new AR!

I been wanting to pick up a AR Pistol for some time now with a .50 Beo upper on it. Smile
Just to sorta own as a novelty.
Like this setup here....
It's almost looks like a MP5,but it's a custom built AR-Pistol chambered for a .50 Beowulf.
Kind of a neat & powerful short-arm concept for a close to mid-range tactical situation .

But it seems they are rarely for sale around here.....
Cant find shit in any local gun shops around here, and all suggest going the custom
built route....Which is spendy and IMO you never see your money back out of it.
So one day I will find some guy that owns one that needs fast cash and maybe get a good deal one.
Until then I will keep dreaming. Wink

I bet Middle Eastern culture confuses you even more. Smile

Firearms here are like anything else.
Some people are hobbyist or sportsman.
Some people enjoy purchasing weapons and mastering them or simply collecting them due to the value of them.
Kinda like buying a archery bow or a Samaria sword......and learning how to use it properly and get better & better with it.
Or like buying sports cards or coins and collecting them for the value.
Some people also get enjoyment out of tactical training & target shooting, just as they would spinning laps on a MX track.

Not to mention....
Firearms are actually pretty good investments,if you play your cards right.
For the most part you can always get your money back out of them or even make a profit.
There is also a lot of money/profit in the used gun market in this country.
