100 cc trail bike to a 250 MX bike

Hello, I am 5'10 and 230 pounds. I have out grown my 100 cc trail bike and I am looking at a 2003 KX 250. I know that the bike is going to kick my ass, I am just wondering if anybody has any tips or suggestions.

Just take it easy your first time, go out to a place were you can get used to the bike first.

The clutch is your new best friend. Use it to tame/smooth out the power delivery. And keep your head over the front.

I went from a crf80 to a crf250.. it is scary for the first few rides but you get used to it very quickly
