But then again, in "your neck of the woods" they have positioned missiles on top of apartment buildings in neighborhoods for some "sporting event" haven't they. That has to give you a warm fuzzy feeling on your side of the pond.

Oh, and, today...

They added 1200 more troops to the list since there's a "Loss of Faith" on behalf of the "Security Providers".

Me?

Hopeful that NOT A DAMN THING SHITTY HAPPENS.

It's not their fault. This is a free market: demand drives supply. If the American mentality wasn't violent, they wouldn't like those movies and that market would be much smaller. Always amazed me that blowing someone's head off was more acceptable than showing two people having sex.

Actually, Hollywood owns plenty of Blame and/or "Fault" via their absolute Hypocrissy and Complete Doucheness.

Well, except for when they made Tombstone.

That's different!

So, all of those violent movies Hollywood makes-they don't sell in all those other far less violent countries?

Friend of mine has let my youngest son burn off thousands of rounds through this one and thousands through several other historical guns and no one died. Funny how that works. Manufactured in the General Motors Saginaw Steering Gear Plant back during WW2. Little history involved there but the anti gun nuts won't appreciate that I'm sure.
That's pretty cool.
It's all about teaching them young and learning respect and knowing about the impacts & consequences firearms can have on life/lives.
The kid probably has more respect for that weapon and knows more about it and what it is capable of (in a respectable way) then most adults do. Wink

The gun issue is as political as it gets. And as in all things political, there is no common sense.

As always, both sides on this issue are wrong, and neither have any common sense and don't want to budge an inch.

The thing is we will never live to see guns so-called banned in this country.I don't think anyone that is alive right now will *live to see it.They are here to stay, debating gun control is like beating a dead horse.
So why not better educate people about them?

I am agreeable with that.

I own many guns myself, but I want to see some common sense from both sides.

AINT THAT THE FUCKING TRUTH!

That right their shows what we are dealing with in America. Seriously. With a populace that is ok with that sort of mentality (that includes you and me), it makes a sensible person wonder why he even cares anymore. We cant even get past that simple concept of sex vs violence. We're fucked. No way around it.

The concept of buying remote property and becoming a hermit never has sounded so good.

Actually, if you read back through the thread, I rebutted someone else saying it's the fault of Hollywood. I was saying that the market demands those style of movies, and Hollywood is simply giving the market what it wants. My point is the culture defines the level of violence, and Hollywood only gives the culture what it wants, not the other way around.

I get you. It's is a stupid mentality, that some how shooting down an airliner over central london is a better option than it crashing into the olyimpic stadium.

Simple answer? He's a socialist.

Now I rant...

Or because he wants further restrictions on gun ownership. Any restrictions is a assault on the 2nd amendment IMO. He doesnt see the value in gun ownership so he is ok with everyone handing them over. An attack on the constitution is un-American.

Furthermore, if you really want me to get into it, I could say that he is a pawn for the globalist agenda, as is most of Hollywood. This republic has been under siege since the banks took over. That is where his efforts need to be focused, not on gun laws.

There is a lot of questionable stuff regarding both Columbine and Aurora that everyone seems to just gloss right over because the truth of the matter (if the suspicions have merit) is way too difficult for all of us to swallow. If indeed those two incidents were indeed psy-ops then they are part of a greater plan, and he is part of it as well with the bullshit he spews. Whatever the agenda of the NWO is, he's playing right into their hand. But that is all a bunch of tin-foil shit that isnt real. Zeigest isnt real. JFK was really killed by Lee Harvey. 9/11 had nothing to do with invading Afganistan for their opium. And we didnt care that Sadam wanted to trade oil on a currency other than the dollar, we went in and ousted him for humanitarian reasons right? Fair enough. Oh, and the 90 second response time in a black neighborhood in Aurora is about 11 times faster than average but we wont pay that or any of the other inconsistencies any mind. Lets sit and argue about what we would have done had that theater been armed with CCW carrying citizens (which is a ridiculous argument btw).

All the theories aside... disarm the police and military and I'll gladly hand over my weapons.

I trust my fellow neighbor a hell of a lot more than I trust the goons in the uniforms. Face it, the vast majority in the police force are ex-military. The vast majority in the military went their because they had little other options. Meaning, our police forces are made up of the countries lowest common denominator. All the training in the world wont make up for poor judgement. Forgive me if I dont trust the people in uniforms but they are IMO the dumbest and weakest individuals this country produces. Lemmings.

Ive witnessed with my own eyes the brutality the people with badges will do to defenseless non-violent citizens. And you have too, that is unless we are to forget the Kent State shootings.

jmar, what is your stance on disarming our police and military? And what evidence is their that they are any more responsible with their weapons than the common citizen?

Statistically we are twice as likely to get struck by lightening than end up a victim in a mass shooting. All this outcry over this incident and the way it is being covered reeks of "agenda". It's knee-jerk. And the timing is oh so convenient to the new bill that needs votes.

The whole plane hi-jacking theory is so ridiculous I cannot believe anyone gives it any credibility.

If someone wants to make a statement, they charter a private jet and hijack it with all the explosives they can load onto it. No security. No TSA. No hassle. No problem.

I guess we will see how it plays out but the conspiracists believe something big will go down at the Olympics. I was going to go watch Phelps but I think I will pass considering the current global climate. Plus, I hate flying into and out of England.

After 9-11, I'll speculate the plane-hijacking-by-terrorists thing hanged itself by its own rope. A terrorist standing up threatening a bunch of people in the aircraft isn't going to be met with a bunch of scared passengers glued to their seats; that terrorist is going to live his remaining short life getting his head shoved up his own ass.

I beleive it's something along the lines of a private jet (like you said) hitting big ben and the houses of parliment. I don't give them an ounce of credibility though.

Anyway, If thats the case I hope every politician is present and correct when it happens.
