I got one for my KTM 250xcfw. Got a very good deal on a used one, have not installed yet. I have been using a Rekluse auto clutch for several years, but this brake sounds strange to get used to (some obvious benefits) Anybody used one?

I am a paraplegic and ride and use one. Actually I think all of us kids that are riding still use the same hand brake from Rekluse. Mine works great and I am thankful that a company like Rekluse is around, otherwise I wouldn't be riding!

Its a little weird to get used to but after a bit it feels natural. Also I think that I have an advantage in right hand turns! Intead of braking early and taking my foot off the brake to turn I leave my foot on and can brake later.

Extremely easy install. Might even be lighter than stock too, not too sure.

Hope that helps...

Lot of trail riders use the clutch perch for the rear brake along with those Clutches. Supposedly turns your moto into more of a Trials bike.

Hey Ranel,
what's up??
Ricky uses the Rekluse left side hand brake as well, works perfect.

I ran across this the other day, kind of pricey and a little strange but worth alook.

Hey Rick!

I just checked that out, the thing looks pretty trick!

I know I would rather be able to ride with my clutch instead of an auto clutch but i don't know if that much money is worth it or not...

I don't know if its ever happened to Ricky but I have stalled the bike a few times and fallen over with the auto clutch. I don't think I would have stalled if I could have had full use of a clutch.... Dang it, thinking about it now I might have to get one! haha

Rekluse is making a pro series that will allow you to use your clutch manually, in addition they have a small lever that mounts as a clutch, leaving your hand brake lever on the clutch side in place(similar to the Clake link posted) Have you tried getting any sponsorship/discount fron those guys? I have been riding a 450, and stall it moe than I would like, but I have the magic button.

I ride in the woods, MX only to get laps in. It might be a great addition for me, the auto clutch sure was.

I have that clutch that has the lever on it. Last I heard they were working on having a different mounting point for the clutch lever so it will work better because as it is now you have to pull it very far back to get the clutch to fully engage.

I haven't asked for any sponsorship or anything like that from them but any time we have had problems, questions, or needed some help getting it to work right they have done anything they could. They really are a great company!
