Dhani Jones, former NFL star and the host of Spike TV's Playbook 360, came out with a crew to the Red Bull Budds Creek National last month to check out motocross and visit with Red Bull KTM's Ryan Dungey. The idea is to breakdown motocross for mainstream viewers, and Dhani is a master at jumping right in and figuring things out. Check out the segments right here:

How tall are you DC? Jones looked like he towered over the Dunge, who himself has to be close to 6'. You looked like the same height as Jones

Thanks Dwayne! I am 6 even. And I got to say that Dhani was extremely cool and totally into motocross. He and Ryan really hit it off as they are both Livestrong ambassadors and I can see them doing a show based on Ryan's MN Major River-to-River Ride next year!

Dhani was doing another show on maybe the travel channel? He's a cool guy, monster too. He must make the racer's look even smaller than usual. Cool segment. As much as everyone like to kill Ryan for being a "robot" in recent years, he actually a pretty good interview now and a great representative for the sport.

Chris, I agree on Dungey -- he's totally settled into being in the spotlight. He also is humble about it. He knows that it's going to get much tougher when the rest of the guys are all back. I think that's why he's methodically getting stronger and stronger on the bike, but not pushing it.
