The shop that owns this bike is right down the street from my house. I bought my 09 KX 250f there. It definitely looks trick in their shop. The race fuel smell alone makes me want to sell off my car, my ninja, and my 09. But as others have said, I'll stick to my 09 and pump gas and leave the buy to someone else who wants the liability of having a works bike to find replacement parts for after they huck it into another novice. It's been there for a month!! Good riddens to the lucky buyer. I envy you. Or do I...

If you have always wanted a full trick AMA level pro bike you could consider it a deal in some eyes.
Kinda what I was thinking. There is a lot of trick bits on that scooter.

A leftover teams bike is always better then a showroom bike.

The frame is probably stretched but nobody commenting on these forums is fast enough for that to matter to them.

That bike was stripped bolt-by-bolt and rebuilt methodically. As are all good teams bikes that they sell at the end of the year.

I know what is actually paid for the leftover bikes, and their is some decent markup this guy is making, but so what. He's got the connections that most people dont, and at $15k its a GREAT deal if you are fast enough to warrant all those mods.

I agree, bikes are ridden hard, but maintained well. Not like the average rider that does not take proper care of their bike.

It is most likely worth it if you could ask yourself one simple question..........could you ride it fast enough to know the difference? Most people.....not a chance.....but a local pro with some money.....maybe?

Exactly. Leftover team bikes are extremely reliable if you ask me. Best value for your dollar hands down.
