Those 95 videos bring back some memories. I had just graduated high school and I tried qualifying that year. Lined up next to Donny in my morning qualifier and briefly had a moment of greatness with a 5th place start. Then we got to the sand whoops and I got passed like I was tied to a post. I was riding with a AC separation in my left shoulder after a massive get off in practice. I just tried gutting it out, and it was a bad idea because on about lap three of my quali, someone had crashed on what is now the Holy Schmit jump, and the flagger wasn't out yet. I landed right on the guys bike and that's pretty much all I remember. I got knocked out cold. Just watching that video makes me remember the track that day...and the heat!! Thanks for posting

Was it 91' when Matthes tried to qualify and race Millville in the 500 class?
