GuyB that is so true and I think you could carry it over to most anyone who has at some time in their life been involved in competition. People who have "fun" losing are well.... Hard to phathom anyone having as much "fun" losing as they would "winning" at anything......but that may just be me....I know lots of former Athletes from all walks that say they "hate losing more than they like winning...."

That DNQ came by way of a DNF in his first moto if memory serves me correctly. He was battling with Jeremy Martin and went down. He didnt not qualify due to speed.

No doubt in my mind that Carmichael will win everything he enters...just saying.

His Road to Loretta's video can be found somewhere on here. It had and interview and GoPro footage from RC.

He was running Martin down in moto 1 and slid out, somehow that ripped his throttle housing off so that was a DNF. 2nd moto he got bumped off the track on the first lap then crashed again to finish 4th, so no qualify in Pro Sport. So it's not like he wouldn't have made it. For the first time in his career he had bad luck at a qualifier, proves it happens to everyone.

Numbers officially came out. Of course RC gets to run his number 4 even though he hasn't been to Loretta's since the 90s. That cheapens it a bit for me, the single digits are suppose to be earned. If he's going to race an amateur national he should be subjected to the same rules as everyone else, even the small ones like numbering system.
