How do i install a kill button?

ok going to get a kill button for my kx80 and was wondering how to install it Smile

Simple to do. Just make sure you get the correct one for the bike otherwise you may have to change connectors on the wires. Some are single wire, some have two, your parts guy should be able to get you the correct one. Probably will have to remove the fuel tank to find where it plugs in.

its either 96 98 or 99 not entirely sure Smile

i believe the 10th number in the vin should tell you the year? if not a dealer can punch it in and pull up what you got

Some manufactures use a letter code. Some bikes can tell from the 8th number from the right I believe.

The VIN will be 17 digits

That's it then but its only 12 digits long Sad how hard is it to fit a kill button?

a parts guy with enough experience will be able to help you. in some cases the same kill button works for a number of years, id have em check all the years you believe it is and see if the part numbers match up. probably the best way to go about it
