Has anybody used one of the OGIO stepup ramps to load their bike? Opinions?

Yeah, I'm hip on the specs and picture. What about the quality?

I can't speak intelligently about the quality of this ramp because I've never seen one until now.

However, I've owned several Ogio items in the past, and their quality is fantastic and I would go so far as to say, second to none. I doubt they would license their name (if this isn't their own design) to a product that was of poor quality, and I'd bet my left pinky toe that if it is their own design, the quality is top notch.

Having said that, I will say that the ramp looks stellar and a fantastic idea. It's one of those, "Damn, I wish I had thought of that," ideas.

Had the same "I should have thought of that" moment when I first saw them.

I'm sure the MSR ramp is good. I'm looking for something to work with a tall bed height and the OGIO looks like it might work for that. Thanks.

Works good for me, I have a tundra rock warrior. Once you get the bike rollin to the ramp, the momentum will get it up there, lol Just keep it movin the bikes are heavy,Wink

I think that is the benefit of the step up. Sometimes you have to load this stuff yourself and that little "dip" would allow it to remain in place while you adjust.

I think it's a fantastic design.

Pick up a tri-fold quad ramp. They're cheap, and make loading and unloading a dirtbike from a lifted truck much easier. It's about like putting three 6' ladders side by side- easy to walk bikes in and out of the bed. I'm putting bikes in and out of a Dodge 4x4 with a 4" lift, rear add a leaf, on 35" tires. Combined with me being short, I can only imagine that using a narrow dirt bike ramp would eventually result in a YouTube moment. Oh yeah- they're only about $70 at Harbor Freight....
