New England Pro released from Langston Motorsports KTM over the weekend. Wonder what the whole story is??? Anyone have any thoughts?

to the best of my knowledge he was. I know he had some really impressive ride coming through the pack as well

Did I hear on Pulpmx that Langston lost the use of the Ohlins stuff for the Nationals because the deal with Ohlins was SX only?

I don't think the team was complaining about losing the ability to use Ohlins stuff. I was hearing stories in their pits of suspension testing after Freestone on new stuff from Merge Racing, and cutting 3-4 seconds a lap off their times.

AJ is a good fast local pro rider in new england that should tell

after placing what? top 10 as a fill in rider for last few round in 2010 it think? i figured he was gonna be on a fast track to put in some finishes. he's been top 20 at best sometimes, most of time farther back. sure has been struggling.

AJ is a great kid with a tremendous family behind him.
He did the first season of SX lites a couple years ago on his own, from a van with one bike.
Never asked anyone for anything.

Dave from EI has hooked AJ up with some rides in Germany and has nothing but good things to say about AJ.

Won the AX West Coast Lites the following year riding with Babbitts, then did some national stuff on his own....again never asked for anything from anyone except family and close friends.

Got the Langston gig and ran some good races and some not so good races.
The contract is up......he didn't set the world on fire and they didn't bring him back.
Simple as that.

Now instead of sitting at home he is going to load up a van and do it on his own.
He is just another example of how much competition there is at that level.......

Bottom line guys, there are alot of fast riders sitting home. The sport only caters to the top guys and the rest can't afford to do it on their own and the payout for placing doesn't cover the cost to try. So unless you have deep pockets and excellent equipment to compete your are SCREWED ! But AJ is not the only one, many good riders sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring.
