Gotta say the Harley looks way better. The Yami probably rides better though.

Get you a Harley. Make sure you get all the "Motorclothes" that go with it. My favorite is the dressup to play "biker".

I understand that too. I've never put a "sponsor" decalkit on my bike, and I explained to my son early on: "Are they paying you? Are they giving you free product? Then you don't wear their decal". He's a big fan of OEM graphics or nothing.

I'm thinking I will save 10K and buy the Yamaha and put the front faring on it and take off the big windshield. I would like to buy the Hog as it is mostly American and the nostalgia factor however, when it comes down to it, I will be a weekend rider anyway. Only being able to ride about 8 months out of the year at best. I am sure I will ride it often when going places without the family but, I think it to be wiser to save money at this time in the economy and should I be able to splurge later, I will.

I have the Road Star Warrior that is fixed up pretty nice, I would say that 90% of the HD wana be's think it's just a custom cruiser. I just crack up when you see these yahoo's in thier leather's and bandana's look at my bike and try to figure out what it is and it is half the cost of their bikes. You can get what you want but these metric bikes are so much better then the HD's and alot cheaper. Good Luck

if you can find an 06 vstar 1300 id buy it and put it up---should be worth a fortune because the bikes didnt come out til 07--=--id buy a roadstar though, its a 1700 and has a much more finnished look than the 1300 v- star
