The ad says it was raced in Nationals, owned by SPY, etc..?

Could be. I bought a bike a couple years ago from him. He was living in Ca. and had a house in Ct. that I'm guessing he was getting ready to sell. So he was selling off somes bikes and a car or two at the time.

Newmann, I dont think this RM is related. This CL ad is in Western Mass, your guy lived in southern CT. I dont think the bikes are connected.

He may have sold it previously? Don't know anything about it though and not sure who would have raced it for him.

The owner of SPY lived in CT? I ask this because my sister and a few friends were renting his house in Cali until a few months ago. I guess he is living in Italy now. My sister would do work for him and she never mentioned him saying anything about CT. I might be able to find out some more info.
