Installed some Boyesen Pro reeds in my 1982 RM250. The reeds were well worth it. The bike runs very clean with very traction like power. The instructions were excellent where the recommendations were to richen the lower circuit. The dual stage reeds are a very good design. Money well spent!

did you pick up anything on the bottom end?

The lower end became more manageable with the transition to the mid to top end. The traction was improved in all this so the bike is much easier to ride. The bike has greatly improved forward motion. The bike always pulls a clean 2nd gear start now. Make sure the jetting is correct was important with these reeds. I ended up putting the stock Q-6 needle jet back into the carb.
