It looks like I'm a Norcal...make that CentralCal...guy for the near future (at least during the week) and am based in the Turlock area. Any of you boneheads out there live around here and know the area? As in the inside line on places to eat, riding areas, kart tracks, varmint poontang (kidding,I have a gf), or even the key to Kenny Roberts back gate...

Thanks!

Oh, and if you're flying your Cessna over this area anytime tomorrow on your way to Vegas, maybe you could swoop down and grab me and save me the ridiculous drive back down through Bako...

Wow, funny stuff!

But I was actually looking for something more along the lines of real information.
Thanks, though!

buy an alarm for your house and a lock for your bike and start sharpening up on your Spanish; welcome to the central valley. I love everything about it except for the thugs and low-life people who live here with me.

Race Tracks:

Oatfield mx is really close and is awesome but is usually only open on race weekends.

Club Moto: (livermore) is my favorite track in the area and is probably 1 1/2 hours away.

there are a few tracks further south just past Fresno also and lots of tracks in the Sac area.

La Grange OHV is out that way. Might need to research if it is still open. The mx track is pretty good as well. Been a couple years since I have been out there.

Oatfield best track in the area (10-15 mi east of Turlock)

AMP's Home Track: http://www.ampgfimotocross.com/

Club Moto (45 mins away)

3 tracks in Marysville (2 hrs away----- worth the drive)

Tulare Cycle Park ( about 2 hrs away)

*** Lagrange OHV / & MX track (not prepped)---- 25-30 mi away
--- unless race weekend, or decent after a race weekend ($5 park entry)

Oatfield, my personal favorite track in the NorCal area. If you can get out there saturday on a race weekend for practice, the track is so bad ass. Loamy and straight up fun.

Club Moto is pretty fun also and like mike36s said, both track in Marysville are worth the drive.

Hangtown of course in the Sacramento area
