But he did get squeezed, that's factually true. It's a racing term. To say a rider got squeezed doesn't by itself automatically mean that it was a bad or unfair move by the rider shutting the door.

Whether JH had unfair intentions or not is a matter for anyone willing to debate it. But of course only Jeffrey will ever know the truth. Tommy seemed to think it was less than honourable, and immediately in the post race interview - Jeffrey himself (for some reason) seemed to think that Tommy wanted retaliation.

someone always gets squeezed in the start, this time it was tommy. it´s not like the old cairoli take out move he used to do to cp377 couple of years ago, that was a take out move this was just a regular start.

Many/most native speaking English people see to think that all non-native English speaking people master your language as well as you do. And although Jeffrey definitely knows more than a few words of English , I can easily imagine him to use certain words for the lack of knowing any better one (in English that his). But the interviews are done in English afterall and not in Dutch.
Wouldn't seek more than using a strange word choice behind his "cleaning out"

The Ama guys could learn from Pourcel when it comes to sponsor plugging! "I would like to thank all my sponsors that you can see on me" then points to his shirt. Every one see's the logo's while still maintaining interest in what cp says... perfect Smile

ARRGGG - Lame, the Kawi site doesnt let you save the pics, I have a pretty badass picture library all separated by year, SX, MX. and goes back to i think 1999 or 2000. Just recently (the last 3 or 4 years) started adding GP's to my collection.

Someday im gonna put them ALL on a HD in a time capsule and go bury it in my backyard lol

Here is an awesome one!!

Superb Maiden Podium for Leib

The Grand Prix of Italy at the Fermo circuit close to the Adriatic Sea was the scene of round three in the FIM Motocross World Championship and a second weekend of action in succession for the MX2-GP division of the Monster Energy Yamaha team. It was also the stage on which Michael Leib was able to shine in the second of two outings as a replacement rider on the factory-backed YZ250F. He not only finished as runner-up for a personal best GP result but also secured Yamaha’s first trophy in the category this season....

Michael Leib:

“I got the opportunity to come over here for two weeks and ride a good bike and the goal was to do exactly what I accomplished today. It is not everyday you can achieve a highly set aim like that, especially one other people think you cannot reach. I proved myself and it was a very emotional feeling. I’ve had pretty good success in supercross and I was starting to build myself up. Today was a day where I wanted things to come together and they did. The first moto was one of the best I’ve had in a professional race and I have to thank Steve Dixon for giving me the chance and the equipment.”....Read more HERE

about you english wtf.

In the clip it show jh swerve across with intent, not an easing into aline which brought the riders lines together this is something you could say is dangerous riding.I would say he was in front and can make what line he wants its for others to react to it.
Jh has earnt no fans from it off the track and will now be waiting thinking about when and if searle is going for payback. This could be bad for him,i hope after tommy has spoken to SE that jh will be told keep it clean no more servere swerving and we get to see more good racing

Dude you already had (in my opinion) a slightly misguided opinion of Tommy before Fermo and your first post in this thread was "100 is back in his normal groove "DNF KING" which was posted BEFORE the second race incident... if you already had that attitude its not surprising you're over reacting to what you feel are prejudicial comments from the British Media or fans or whoever.

Anyone (other than a Dutch person perhaps) can see that Herlings is the one creating the stir with his egotistic interview comments and yesterday his questionable riding. Its not just a British thing - as demonstrated by mmcmx's comment earlier in this thread. Personally I agree with you that Herlings was within his rights to try and take the inside line, but that doesn't mean that Tommy did not get "squeezed" as Malin said. There has to be a certain amount of respect on the start straight which is why that particular incident can be viewed different ways... the fact is is that his cocky demeanour and the slightly underhand vocal rivalry that they're both engaged in make some people assume that he COULD have done it on purpose, Searle obviously felt it was done on purpose but Herlings thinks Tommy was the one who crashed into him.

I think Herlings is a cocky little shit, but I mean that in an endearing way. I think he's an amazing rider, I actually admire his self confidence and his attitude doesn't make me think badly of the Dutch, he is his own person, just as Searle is not indicative of all English people. Im actually quite surprised at your reaction to all of this stuff. Its really not that bad! Cheer up and enjoy it, these are the kind of rivalries we'll look back on in a few years with good memories - like Langston & Dobb, Everts & Tortelli, Emig & McGrath, Bayle & Stanton, Reed & Stewart etc Smile

the reason why jh is like he is, is because he has people like you around sticking up for him and saying its all someone else.
He is being pampered like a little baby and has the spoilt child syndrome i.e running to hide after the race when he knows he has been a naughty boy and deserves a slap.
Tommy was unlucky in race one and put in a good ride till it went bang same for both tommy and jh in race 2. If tommy had got going earlier and was on jh with 15 to go we might have seen a different out come, rivialry is a good thing it keeps it exciting and gives the fans something to talk about..Its not a uk v holland thing.I am sure if jh wants to get dirty tommy can throw it back but i personally would like to see good clean racing but if we are not going to play nice i would like to see tommy clean the kid out properly so he learns abit of respect.

I don't really know about any of their history but I know I've never really liked Herlings and this year that opinion has been enforced every time he's interviewed all the "I was just cruising" and "I saw Tommy coming so I stepped it up to my normal race pace cause I knew he'd take me out" (a fair amount of paraphrasing cause I don't remember exactly what he said but I'm close) makes him sound like a complete fuckwit

but Searle is having sex with my favourite Monster girl.. so he can get fucked too

strange that it happens this year, years before no negative atmosphere why?
It is strange that in the years where tommy has been right in there it has never happened before so why now?

next year it will be quiet again he go to MX1, can he play mind games with 377 and 222
You seem to forget tommy has race against 222 before it will be nothing new to them

We love the sport that's why we have large audience and you make a hype about Matterley Basin 7000 spectators
we love the sport too and thats why we have 7000 spectators at matterley

JH nows he has tommy covered in the sand but is a little behind when it comes to the hard pack thats why he is trying to get inside tommys head to equal the advantage tommy has but i think he has just blown it and tommy is now pissed i will be surprised if we see tommy line up to the inside of jh again and if i the late stages of a race if he is close he will deffinatley throw it up the inside where as before all this he might not have.
How many more sand tracks do we have ?
looks like your boy is gonna need to stay lucky :-)

i think you're doing herlings an injustice with his hardpack riding skills! He will be faster than tommy at most of the tracks this year, just not by such a big margin on hardpack (as in the sand)

he's got a 35 point lead (over tommy) already, so can afford to take a few 2nd/ 3rd places if he has to. Its his championship to lose!

I was gutted for roelants at the weekend, he's flying this year, and looked like he would be a championship contender too- but he's too far behind now! Barring any major incidents from herlings he is well and truly in the driving seat after only 3 rounds.
