We've recently purchased a 2008 CRF150RB for my other half to ride, it fits here size perfectly.
It was fairly cheap with some pretty high hours clocked on it,.
But for peace of mind sake i plan on pulling the head off and having a look at how the bottom and top end are doing. While i'm there i might aswell throw a fresh piston kit into it to keep it fresh. Compression is still okay and starts fine.
Will also check freeplay of the bottom end, and the condition of valves/springs.
Any other recommendations while this things apart? She doesnt even really get on the main jet much so a bit of a freshen up and make sure everything is in spec and it should be fine for her for a while.
What online shop do you recommend for the cheapest piston kits? I'd probably only look at genuine or well known piston company like wiseco.
