Very respectable, I think he can do even better with some time on the bike.

Great job ML

Not bad at all. Last year was frustraiting seein him put a decet race to only fall with a mechanical. Wish he could get a few more races on that bike. I think he's only schedule for 2 more.

5-10 place finishes should be within his sights, those guys have had much more prep, next round at Fermo in Italy is quite similar, hardpack and fast, that should help make setting up a bit easier hopefully, great ride Smile

He's looking forward to getting time on the bike this week. He said his fitness was off in the second Moto. Hoping for much better in Fermo. He was not happy with his result. Thanks for all the kind words.

No need to thank anybody, he's earned all the praise.

Pretty good ride, I saw an interview with him this week where he was excited to be going over there on "good equipment". A little bit funny to see his former Husky team mate Alessandro Lupino beat him on the Husky though.

Agreed, still happy for Leib though. As a Husky owner it was pretty cool to see Lupino score a 6th. Maybe they can both crack the top five at the next round before Leib comes back.

There's fuck all to laugh about there by Lupino beating him,he's on the Factory bike just like last year and had all winter on it and with the team just like all last season where he was their favoured rider.Anyone that comes over and takes on something like that deserves a lot of respect, its not easy,I hope Michael improves next next week like he should and kicks some ass,Steve Dixon is a smart guy hiring him,and runs a well respected and professional team,I wouldn't be surprised if he might be thinking about plans for next season,Zach has done great with them afterall.well done Michael Wink

Michael was spent after Moto 1. Moto 2 was survival. His fitness isn't there yet for those 2 day events and 40 minute motos. That being said in moto 1 Michael was 25th around the first turn, 19th after the first lap, caught and passed Lupino who was 14th after the first lap. Michael went on the finish 10th. Lupino fished 14th. Just saying.

Everyone knows that bike Michael rode last year was a total piece of shit.

That's right,I said before, hammering out those 3 extra laps at the end of both Motos just adds more hard work to it,they're the toughest laps of the race,he's been in SX mode too,I noticed he was way down at the start of that Moto,he moved up pretty quick,no doubt in my mind he's a top 10 guy, maybe more.

How is he finding the team, those guys should be pretty fun to work with Smile

You mean that bike that hadn't ever been raced professionally before, yet was still able to score points more often then not last year? It may not have been up to par with the other factory bikes, but it wasn't a Cannondale.
