Amazing on a bike low on power and no linkage. (sarcasm alert) Last week Emig said during the broadcast that KTM was behind on power compared to the rest. Yea right, that's why Sipes and Davalos came into the first turn first on the longest start straight of the year.

Way to go Ryan! He has been working SO hard to stay up at the top.

Is Red Bud's start straight longer than Glen Helen's?

Don't know for sure, Just what I heard them say on the webcast. I do know it's a long ways from experience.

Power is one factor in a start. There are many. We all know a 250F has more power than a 125 2-stroke, yet Bubbas last year in the lights his only holeshot up until Glen Helen was at MT. Morris which is the biggest UPHILL start in the Nationals. He pulled that being the ONLY 125 out there.

Sipes is quietly having his most consistent season as a pro.
Even when his bike has expired he had been running great.
It seemed to me from the two races I've been to this year that:
FC, PC, & KTM had the fastest bikes by far. I'm no emig, just my speculation.

Sipes is just showing some amazing speed this year as far as laptimes. Really impressed. Love to see him be more consistent. I keep waiting for him just to be in a zone one race this year and take Villy.
