so ivve been going at this for about a week now.... cant find any answers on google and on here so im gonna ask.
2009 kx250f
so i start the bike like 1-3 kicks usually (cold) let it warm up and when i push down into first the bike stalls. i pulled apart the right side of the engine... all the clutch plates (steel and fiber) are in spec. the basket shows no sign of groves or wear, and all of my adjustments up at the bars are correct to the book. as in my level play is within the books spec.
any suggestions on what to do?
brand new top end by the way, valves and everything.

Pressure plate movement ok? Pull clutch cover and check.
Oil type wet clutch compatible?
and yes everything checks out just like it should. its crazy this is happening cause it worked about 2 weeks ago just fine. ran the bike up and down the street and whatnot.. and since then i havent touched anything. and yeah my oil is wet clutch oil..
the only thing i could think of is the release shaft thingy gap is too little. but only barely..
Post a reply to: anyone good with clutches?
