I really dig both of them...so i just want a good fight that battles into the later rounds.

Forrest is definitely the type of guy to keep fighting.

Should be a really good fight.

WHAT A FIGHT! That whole 2nd round i sat staring at the screen w/ jaw on the floor, Forrest dominated HUGE that round. Great fight, it was everything i hoped it would be.

I normally use the original MMA-TV.net premium stream, the original site is gone now, but i have the 400k stream saved in my favorites in WinAmp, but it cut out, so i went to SopCast (way worse quality stream). When that one went down i went to Justintv stream, it SUCKED. The Channelsurf stream was awesome. Very clean but the audio had about a 1 sec. delay. But it also cut out at the decision, so i stil havent seen the dec. or post fight interview, kinda pissed, i bet Forrest was soooo stoked.

Rampage was robbed. Griffin won one round, maybe two, but no way was that a unanimous deciscion. Champ should have known better than to let it go to the cards.

Rampage admitted he "got his ass whooped". Great close fight, by Griffin controlled most if not all of the rounds.

Rampage is a real standup fighter for admitting he got beat and not using the knee or leg for an excuse. His leg was really bothering him after the fight as he didnt want to put any weight on it while leaving the octagon. I think Forrest hurt Rampage's leg in the 1st round and the 2nd round he put the finishing touches on it. Good fight for 5 rounds.

That weight class is wide open with plenty of possible impact fights which is good for the UFC because all the other weight classes or either dominated by 1 guy or not deep enough for quality big name matchups at the moment.

Just got back from watching the pay for view at one of the Station Casino's. Great fight. I thought Griffin was done when he caught that upper cut, but he came back strong. I figured Rampage was done too at one point but they both kept swinging until the end. Couple of tough guys.

Close call but I think Griifin won it.

I think forrest hurt his own leg with those leg kicks in round 2 because after that he stopped using them haha. It wasnt a very exciting fight but forrest definatly did what he had to to take the win.

Rampage has heavy hands and Griffin has a hard chin, but I still thought Jackson would rock Forrest and get the KO/TKO

All I gotta say is, Light Heavyweights are in for some deep shit now. Anderson Silva at 205 is going to be flat fucking scary to imagine for the rest of those ass hats.

Jackson Camp To Possibly Protest Outcome Of Saturdays Fight

Jackson's coach, Juanito Ibarra, plans to protest the unanimous decision with the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

"We got robbed," Ibarra told Sherdog.com Sunday afternoon. "We won the majority of the fight."

Judges Adalaide Byrd and Nelson Hamilton scored the bout 48-46 for Griffin, while Roy Silbert turned in a 49-46 tally for Griffin.

It's extremely unlikely that a protest would change the outcome of the fight. Ibarra isn't hopeful in that regard, but less than 24 hours after his fighter had lost in the UFC for the first time, the coach seemed determined to learn exactly how the fight was scored.

He was baffled that Byrd and Silbert gave Griffin a 10-9 advantage in the first round, during which Jackson dropped the challenger. In Ibarra's view, the knockdown warranted a 10-8 round in Jackson's favor. He believes Jackson won the third and fourth rounds on 10-9 scores, though he said Griffin deserved a 10-8 second round and a 10-9 fifth. That comes out to a 47-46 win for Jackson.

"You have to beat the champion," Ibarra asserted more than once.

Check out the fight metric stats, if you click on round 1 at the bottom, it looks closer to even than even a 10-9!
