450 kawi running lean ?

My beloved 450 is getting harder to start and turning the headpipe glowing red after 2 minutes of it running . The bike has had the valves adjusted every 20 hrs at a certified Kawi dealership and I just had them done a week ago and now this . What could be the issue here? I'm not running it until I can figure something out . thanks in advance .

efi or carb?
when you run it for two minutes is it in your garage with no ventilation? if it is thats why.... go ride it out and around the street a little, if it pops a lot on decel thats a sign of it running lean.
whats the weather like were you are at?
