Rebuild tips

Hey all, all these rebuild threads got me all sentimental and stuff, so when I was at my dads a couple of weeks ago I pulled my old 1994 CR250 out of his back yard...so many great memories on this bike, and to this day its probably favorite bike ever (I didn't own a 1993)...but its been neglected-brutally-for about 15 years or so (my little brother beat the crap out of it for years...and then its been parked in the sun for about 10 years). And needs a TON of work. I'll try and post a pick later....but it's bad: no pipe (dad sold it to some kid), sun faded like crazy, seat and seat foam are trashed, broken plastics, bent rims...it looks really bad (but still has my numbers on it from when I raced it last).

Anyway, I'd love to do a rebuild on it (some day), back to original...the way it looked right off the show room floor, and the first time I saw it: when my dad surprised me and had it parked in the garage when I got home from school (I'd been asking for a CR250 for about two years-Since MC started winning on one)....so what advice do those that have done it have? Best source for parts? Any "tricks of the trade" you'd like to enlighten me on? Do's don'ts? (It's vital, I've been hear long enough to expect some smart-A replies...lets hear 'em...)
