Food and bar service Friday night at downtown establishments was both spotty and poor. More poor than spotty.

Kenny Roczen was messing with Barcia BIG TIME in practice, ran into him in sand section, then went out and set

fast lap, he was riding angry and shtuff. ' Twas cool. Me dig the Roccer.

Me loves the Embassy Suites. Free boozefest and complimentary breakfast kickz a$$.

Windhamnapolis's transfers were SICKTASTIC. Look it up in the sictionary, it's banned from the thesaurus.

The angry security grrrll chasing down the beach balls and squashing them was seething. Seething !

The halftime entertainment / show was neither.

Stadium beers at INDY were but $7.50 !!! After my boy bought us two (2) Coors at Anaheimlich for $25.00 - we thought it

a bargain. So I bought a few, dammit.

No two-strokes at Indy ? Are you privateers afraid to get your names out there ? C'mon man !

Me loves the SLOW, tricky INDY-type tracks. They bring out the chicks and things get funky.

Saw Brock Sellards hanging about !

Never been to Indy without a winter coat and wooly hat before, felt nekkid. Buck nekkid.

Five kids got shot Saturday night downtown, which is odd, because it feels pretty safe downtown...

There are more three digits in Supercross now than in your local phone book - good health and best wishes

to all the healing.

Brief GOAT sighting Friday afternoon at a crosswalk. I yelled, he acknowledged. Name drop.

Who is riding that Miley Cyrus bike and why ?

#143 Mikey Horban has - by far - the hottest Moto gf - called it first.

INDY - Seriously - you couldn't OPEN THE ROOF ? Hot damn that pi$$ed us off. All of us.

Forget Atlanta - forget Anaheim - INDY deserves two nights - best downtown fun ever.

Elmos is WAY overrated - slice of tomato five bucks - please ?

Somebody call up Chris Pourcel, he can jump in and still win this series....

Some good solid info right there, especially the Roczen/Barcia tidbit. Throw in the Durham post race roost and you have a very feisty german.

So it is possible to have."Forget Atlanta - forget Anaheim - INDY deserves two nights - best downtown fun ever. " despite "Food and bar service Friday night at downtown establishments was both spotty and poor. More poor than spotty"???

The Vitards need pics of Horbans GF pronto, somebody manup and post please.

What brand of beer for $7.50?

Nossir. I could give you a bunch of excuses, but, truth be told - me and my posse, my homies, my gang, my colleagues, my

enthusiastic entourage - GOT REAL LOADED at the free boozefest at our hotel, we raided a few taverns, stormed a few pubs,

inhaled some late-night Jimmy Johns sandwiches, performed some street parkour and danced to a couple buskers' tunes,

then we staggered to our lavish Inn, ragged on each other and drank some more, then watched Sports-Center as one

******* jumped all over our beds and attempted to get security up to our raucous room. ' Twas golden. Golden.

We get pre-loaded. When you're pre-loaded, beer names mean very little. Even to an amateur beer snob like me.

Thanks for asking.

Don.t post much here but RupertX seems like one cool cat; like what you add to Vital.
I moved to Indy in 2006 and haven't missed a SX yet. I've seen LA in the 70's, Phoenix, Dallas, Saint Louis, and Indy is awesome. Your observations are perfect.
Can I buy you a beer at RED BUD???

I bet it really got into Barcia's head when Kroc busted his ass.

great report, you stole some of my sightings!
how did i not see you all weekend RUUPE?
Instead of writing a new one, I'll add on....

Mikey Horban 143 - went to dinner with him and DBlair125. Cool cat for sure. didn't see or meet his chick though. I thought you were going to say he has the coolest hair in the pits, because he does. BW956 is a close second.

BW956 - stoked for him and his win. it's been a while and he was in the right spot at the right time. well deserved!

Seeley 36 - crashed quite a few times in practice, the last one made him hobble off the track. I thought he was done for the night, but he came back for a impressive 5th. His TLD gear rocks too!

JG33 - did a head-first nosedive crash in practice with his arms behind him. it was ugly and his go pro went flying. got up and qualified and looks to be getting back in the groove.

roof - i know why they don't open it during the day (track dries out too fast), but why not at night? it was a gorgeous evening. it it must cost them too much to open.

R. Clark 124 - made his second 450 main in a row and finished 17th after some of the other top guys dnf's.

Ugly Monkey - went to ryan marshall's afterparty at the ugly monkey for a bit. many a industry guy was there. then went to Blue and saw quite a few more. then omni and saw everyone else.

Sellards - talked to him too, also saw former factory guy Keith Bowen as well.

Indy - packed house! impressive turnout for the high gas prices, bad economy and low factory rider turnout. all these midwest races rock and the fans are still coming out in force for a great show no matter who is racing. can't wait for Toronto.

Jake Canada 57 - I know I made a comment on the MCR bikes in another post, but by no means does it mean anything else but that. Jake is on it after getting picked up by them mid-nationals last year. Stoked for Jake and the team and maybe he can podium in Toronto, CANADA !

Track - loved the track layout. talked to Tedesco in STL a few weeks back and he agreed the the football stadiums make the best tracks for SX.

pits - don't like how some teams pit outside and some inside. that's the only thing this round needs to fix. I agree to vote for it getting another round as well. close to home for me and a great town to boot.

I'm Rupert X, and I approve this message.

I told my slimy compadres somebody would be going off that bridge.

You don't put a sand section before a step up onto a bridge, everybody knows that.

It's a good thing you can't really hear the announcer dude, because he is annoying.
