Which one seems to be the deeper series to you guys? I'm not sure, but I think Deano and Tomac would be handling things if they were in the east right now.

everyone says the west is always deeper but this arguement is MOOT imo (and its an old argument at that)

whichever series has the least injured riders is the toughest...ask again in may

First of all, who uses the moniker "lites"?

I thought we all hated that term and in protest were going to say 250 class or SX2 like civilized folk.

West for sure. I wasn't so sure in the beginning of the season but now after watching East for a bit, I'm certain. That said, there are certainly some very fast dudes in East... it's just not nearly as deep this year as the west.

That is what I'm thinking. I think the main advantage Barcia has is his starts. Speedwise I think Tomac is right there.

Amen. There's going to be a lot of contenders outdoors imo. I'm really looking forward to also seeing what Baggett and Leib can do too.

Im talking Supercross though, Tomac (before the break) would have been be a pretty good match for Barcia in his current form. I hope they make a race of it at Vegas.

Outdoors will probably be a different story altogether.

West for sure. Barcia is running away with the title, Roczen is inconsistent, PC is a non-factor, and Mookie can't make a main.

As you can see, this isn't a post about the use of the word "lites" or not.

This is silly, Tomac was running away with the West before his last race. If your justification for the East being weak is that Barcia is running away with it the same justification could be made to the West.

i think the two regions are both stacked, the problem is Vegas isn't a very good indicator of which is best. usually they are just looking to get out of there un-hurt and it doesn't pan out to be a grand showdown.

but Tomac and Barcia are clearly the toughest of each, they both look like they would rather stay home than take 2nd. that's an awesome quality.
