I'm highly displeased that they went with a single file restart. It offends my delicate sensibilities

It kinda seems like the whole idea behind this is to not run another 15 laps, based on the TV schedule.

It's certainly not the dumbest thing the AMA has ever done....

But they don't have that ability, so the staggered restart is, in my opinion, the next best option. At least the leader still is the leader, second is still second and so on.

Looked like at least one guy was really confused and rode the first turn and triple like it was a sighting lap...

My .02? I want the board to be worth reading...for intelligent people who want to talk about moto. Not the ones who want to outshout each other, or to race to see who can post the dumbest insult against one rider or another. I don't want to have to sift through ten tons of crap to find a nugget worth reading. If that means jettisoning a few users to smarten the place up, awesome. If that means that we have to toss a whole bunch, that's fine, too.

I figure everyone's time and energy is valuable, whether it's yours or mine. I don't want to waste your time or mine by having something that's filled with junk...like your original subject line for this thread.
