I have a set of those, but I am not a fan of the "feel" of the lever itself. It feels thin.
I prefer the stock "feel", or the renthal lever feel.

We really liked the Sunline lever feel as the top of the lever was rounded a little more than the stock lever and provided a more comfortable feel. But not everyone will have the same feel of course.

How do you pick what products you review? Is it just swag parts that get sent your way or is it products you are buying?

I agree with him on the brake side. I'm picky about the dust cover also that's why I went with the ASV setup. There are alot of compaies make trick looking clutch levers, but can't thow together a brake lever to match.

It's a little of both worlds, When purchasing we get a discounted price etc.

If Sunline could produce a dust cover, they would be rockin. The O.E.M brake lever with dust cover could go a few rides, washes, etc before it needed any attention. Now it's every ride the brake lever should be removed/cleaned/lubed.

I have only found ONE lever I liked more than stock and its not made anymore (to my knowledge) I think it was made by ride eng. Had a billet clicking clable slack adjuster and the spot where the lever pivoted around the bolt had a legit needle bearing in it.....that thing was buuuuuutter. I sold it with my 02 CR250, to this day I regret selling that bike, I had it dialed head to toe for me. However its nowhere even as close to performing as well as my 06 RM250.

With that being said, me personally I do not like any lever other than the stock, I have tried the unbreakables of just about every kind on one buddies bike. For me the stock angle and density feeling of the stockers are always my favorite. The unbreakable levers Ive tried always feel bulky or sloppy after a little bit of use, doesnt matter which one I tried I just couldnt get comfortable with them.

With that being said I see no reason to spend up to and sometimes over $200 for a set of levers (up to $100 each side) as them being unbreakable, they still get tweaked and feel sloppy after a while or sometimes you get mud or dirt in the spring and the lever return sticks. havent broken a lever in over 15 years due to how I run them, inside of the bar and just loose enough to rotate in a crash. The actuation is perfect for me and im not dissing the unbreakable levers they have a good place in the market but i dont prefer them. Believe me I have fallen MANY times and OEM's dont break

I am not a fan of all of these new second joints. I have never heard of anyone breaking a traditional unbreakable lever....
