Man I love that track, however I don't love how MX sports requires the Huffman's to add new "cool " obstacles to keep the nationals there. Washougal is in my opinion the last remaining old school motocross track on the national schedule and year by year it get's slowed down by building it bigger and "cooler". I prefer riding big gnarly tracks but when I go to washougal I want the nostalgic feel. I miss the Chuck Sun table top, I miss the WHOOP section ( that is now a rythym section for most, myself included). Enough bitching, Washougal is still awesome, great short clip!

then there is always this. This was easily the most kick ass race Ive ever been too. Probably will never witness a national like this in person ever again.

Here's a few more from 83. I think the ski jump is Kent Howerton battling with someone (maybe Bailey or Magoo) and then first lap 125 action with Mark Barnett.

I have to agree with you , that race was epic ! I will never forget the crowd gasping and seeing Ricky sailing through the air refuseing to let go of the bike .
