Did Stewart get a better time in his heat race? I am guessing he did because I think Windham had the second or third gate to the inside. I was left wondering what might have been had Windham gotten the hole shot. Would he have pushed himself to stay ahead of JS? Would JS have wrecked trying to get past him? So many hypotheticals. Good ride either way. It's great to see an old fart like him handing it to 26 guys younger than him.

K-dub is the man but I questioned his start in the heat race. He was half a bike length back from the gate. That's an advantage in those conditions. Rc was talking about how good the start area was. You could get much more drive into the mud with an extra 2 or 3 feet of good traction. Is that ok for everyone to back off the gate far? I really dont know. Still a huge fan of K-dub though!

I believe Kdub had the fastest heat race of the 450s. The track was worse for the second 450 heat and lap times were slower.
