916.....because on sept 16 I crashed and broke a few ribs. Cat scan found my grapefruit size tumor(renal cell cancer)on my kidney...so 9/16 was the day my dirtcycle saved my life.

940 - The 9 is the # I always used for baseball growing up and it's my birthday (1/9). I added the 40 in honor of a great american - Pat Tillman.

741. Assigned to me when I was 8 years old. Stuck with it. Included in my user name here (Initials & Number). Once I get some money and can race again I plan on still using it. It was cool to see Nate Adams run it too.

931. Had to pick a three digit number for a race series. One of my favorite basketball players was Nick Van Exel and his number was nine then thirty one so I just combined the two. Have always liked the number nine. Phone number has a lot of nines in it. Softball and baseball jerseys and shirts always 338 glove has 338 stitched in. Number on the bike now is twenty one cause that's what I earned in the last series I raced.

33 was my soccer number from the time I was 9 years old, til I graduated high school. When I got into mx racing, I tried for 33, tried for 333 and they were both taken, so I went with 332(33 two times shun!)

58 was my # when I played high school football (linebacker). So, it became my racing number for years and years. However, in the last year or three that # was taken in the OTHG so I had to pick something else. Then, it occured to me that my dad's old racing number (65) and mine (58) could be combined to make a sweet tribute to us both (658). So, that is my new number. 658.

However, last season I earned 10 so I am running that this year. I like the way 10 looks but I won't have it next year.

486 until vet class then couldn't find all the #'s before a race and went with just the 4.

A few years later one fast lil redheaded kid made me look like a complete poser.

128. 1 because that was the designation for 125s, 28 because I was the 28th guy to sign up that year.
Switched the first number around as I changed classes, but kept the 28.

After all that serious crap, I stuck 14 on all my bikes. The number I wore most often in 25 years of soccer.
The boy runs 14 on his bike, and soccer jersey.

Thats pretty cool tomcat. I run 523. 5 is the number i always ran back in the day. When i just started racing and riding again figured i didn't want to go through the pain of having the same number as some else(having to electrical tape a number or letter) so i tacked on my wife's favorite number 23.......523!

Started out as 71 because it was my fathers race number, got bumped and it was taken so it has been 454 since 1999....Mostly because I am a chevy guy and it has a nice ring to it

I started with my assigned number in 1981 and it was 158. In 1983 swithched to 57 for a couple years and do not really know why but I think it was one of the few 2 digit numbers available in our district.

Than in like 1987 went to 723 and that is still my number - my birthday is July 23 , I know real original.

Back in the late 70s, my best friend and I were teenagers helping wrench on dirt cars at the old Big-H dirt track in Houston. (literally next door to Rio Bravo). The number these guys ran was 29. Fast-forward 20 years and I decided to build a dirt car of our own, so my friend (same guy as in the old days) and I decide to run the number we helped back in the old days; 29.

After I got the car built, I had a guy come over to letter the race car, and he had some stencils made to put 29 on the car. Just as he was about to put them on, it occurred to me that I needed to call the track and make sure that number was indeed available still. So I called and sure enough, a guy had just beat me and registered 29 a few days before. DOH!

So I told the painter to just switch the stencil to 92, and Ive ran that on all my dirt cars & race bikes since.

My mom always forbode me to ride anything with two wheels and an engine so when I went to get my graphics kit and my first number, I slapped her birthday on the bike being a smart allec. Boy did that backfire. She was excited about it. Haha.

The series I race has to have a blue background and the background on the 19 is white. So rather than getting 19, I got the number 4 so I only had to buy one number rather than two.
