That's what they did to Austin Stroupe. He crashed and got a concussion and they would not clear him to ride for like 2 weeks.

this year, they (Asterisk) has the power to medically stop a rider from racing. it has to do with concusions and the base lines. And its a good thing. it might suck if you ring your bell and think yoru ok to trooper it out, but a race or two vs a lifetime of problems, sometimes you have to rein in the race horse even if they are chomping at the bit to run.

I don't disagree with it, I'm just saying wait until they tell someone in a title chase they have to sit out.
