Kibby has been the FC motor guy for some time and Mitch treats him like part of the green team. Mitch's attitude is, "let the best man win" and over the years, the best men are on his team, look at the plates on the door. No conspriacy here, yosh just another aftermarket company like PC..........troll. Notice the PC stuff on factory 450 again, what happened to that conspiracy?

I guess so. Im sorry.

First, the team will be stepping away from Pro Circuit as a sponsor for 2012. The way it has always worked at the Factory Connection-owned team is that Pro Circuit would supply engine mods and exhaust to the team, and the team would take the engine mods and attempt to make them even stronger with their own R&D, and with help from the Honda factory. But for 2012, the GEICO team will be more in-line with the factory Honda team on the technical side of things, running Yoshimura exhausts and engine mods developed internally, by Honda, or by Yoshimura.

the yoshi pipe is a solid 2 hp on a honda , the sound is from that duplex chamber they use. very good $ well spent when you buy one.

FC went completely in house last year, another interesting one is troy lee designs went in house this year too (by in house i dont mean they make everything themselves i just mean they pick all the suppliers and stuff themselves for certain parts, they aren't using Mitch. Troy lee is still using pipes, suspension and some visible hard parts, but nothing internal)

I had no idea TLD was going that route. Who is making their engines now?

Thanks for contributing something worth reading. Where is he from? MCP has done nothing but try an insult me for making this thread. I rode for factory connection at high level my whole am career right through pro sport. I personally know steve ross and ziggy they took extremly good care of me for over ten years. I would in know way bad mouth kibby or factory connection. I was just stating that there bikes look better since they went away from pro circuit and started using yosh. I also mentioned they probably use yosh because of kibby. It really doesnt matter congrats to geico those bikes sound so good and look real fast.

I guess I just don't understand the point of your thread, or your constant backpedaling about who builds the motors. First it was PC built the motors and FCR just maintained them, then it was FCR built them using PC parts so therefore they are PC motors, then Kibby was building the motors help from PC. Then with Yosh it was their motors, next it was Yosh doing most of the work, then it was under Yosh direction....

Kibby is the motor builder for FCR. Sure, he may use components from several different companies, but just because it uses their components ( PC, Yosh, or anyone else) doesn't make it their motor. For example, if I ordered a PC head, cam, and piston for my bike and assembled it myself...it is not a motor built by PC.

As far as the bikes sounding and looking better this year, last year wasn't so bad in SX with the "PC" motor... 5 lites wins, 16 total podiums, and 1 championship. Not bad for an inferior motor "built" by the competition.

Lastly, I don't normally call people out on their spelling because mine isn't always perfect, and I know its easy to make a mistake when typing fast on a message board... But you should have paid more attention in school.

I heard from a reliable source that Ron Hamp and Scott Venning did or where doing some heads for GEICO.
I only supplyed Kibby with test heads he had one of the same port desighns that honda used on the carb bikes and he also tested the 2010 efi heads and cam combination.Poltics with the companys seemed to always prevent any connection with RHC or TUF performance products .Kibby ran what he wanted in the gieco bikes he is the major part of there sucess .

Tall tales? Why would I make that up for the whole motocross community to see. I rode for them as a ameature rider in 2001. They were terrible bikes though. They had 50mm forks and looked bad ass with the DKNY graphics. Fact of the matter is feracci sp? Build me two full factory huskys and took me to the PA, NY, and the race a champions on those bikes. I rode right out of the semi. I have pictures I can post when I get out of work if you really think I would make that up. Steve lamson, steve mertens, and I think one other guy went to those races with us. I rode yamahas after that for a local shop. Who are you to even know me?
2/11/2012 10:14am
Wow your still going hard on those fairy tales. Your stil a wet noodle i see. You sure you werent sweeping the floor right out of the rig or collecting lamsons old sweaty gear? What does an ex factory racer now call work? Exxon Mobil?

If it was a story you might have a case for being a total prick. But instead your just making yourself look like a jackass because there are others on this board that know me well enough that im not lying, that was a great experience for me. The local shop was drucker yamaha but im sure you knew that already since you know so much about the truth? Your right I have tons of great stories that are very true. Motocross was a huge part a my life. I feel bad for you because all you do is shit on peoples posts for know reason. Thanks for your input though.
