Best bike you never had (but rode)

For me it was Mike Browns 93 CR250. I had a 93 but nothing like this one. After i rode it I could touch my toes without bending over. It was awsome ,that is the closest I have come to world class motocross bike.

KTM 200SX. I had never rode a KTM before, didn't really know what to think. I loved this bike, as light and flickable as a 125 with 250-style bark. It handled awesome in the corners, was really easy to lay over and it was dead stable. I remember over-jumping the hell out of a 90ft tabletop on it, thinking I was gonna eat shit and wad up this guy's bike, but it absorbed that big flat landing like nothing.

Awesome bike.

Couple of them, 360 CZ twin pipe, can't remember the year. And a 250 Elsinore, 1st year.

93 cr250...it was my best friends dads and he let me ride it and it was the 1st 250 i had ever ridden i got off that bike with open eyes and a funny feeling in my pants...

2003 Ktm 125. First time ever riding a ktm. The owner was an upcoming privateer, so the motor was unreal. Way out of my league at the time.

I had a 00 CR250 at the time but I rode an 2003? KX 125 that was boxed up and sent out to PC for the works Motor and Full aftemarket PC suspension. Money was no object. When he got it back he was practicing at my track and let me ride it. The suspension was so pefect I've never riden anything like it. The motor pulled all day. I liked my pro-action motor better but that suspension was like nothing I ever rode.

He just got his pro licence and was going all out. He ended up blowing out both knees about a month after that at my track on a double triple combo that was simple but he was putting in 45 min motos.

His dad made him quit so he could take over the family buisness.

The bike still sits at a local shop and no won knows why it has a $5000 price tag (was $7000) I thought he would have parted it out but he didn't.

My buddies 83 RM 250, I had a 81 490 Maico at the time and we were out practicin on the little test track and that full floater suspension eliminated every bump on the stinkin track, it was phenomenal, forks werent so great but man that thing hooked up..and no kickers on the jumps either..

4 valve 160cc bbr... I always see a group of guys on these passing the 450s and clearing 70ft tabletops riding in the big track. Looks like fun!!! One of the guys told me that they put it through dyno tests and it was packin 25 horses!!!

That would have to be either a 1972 Hodaka Super Rat or Bobby Kyle's 1978 Bul 370. Bobby pretty much owned the Open expert class around here. That thing would track straight across a mine field.
i raced a couple of dudes on that 370 bulto, very smooth scooter. tom rapp, pat brown and a few others were smokin on those suckas

1979 Husky 390 - a friend just bought it and let me ride the machine. I weighed about 130lbs at the time and it was an "E - ticket" ride for sure!

Waiting for the pic to arrive in the mail, so I can scan it and post it. But mine was the IMS Honda, XR440, that Mike Healey, rode in practice at Daytona. I had a duplicate, and loved that bike.

KTM protested this bike because it was not intentional for Supercross. It would have been the first 4-stroke to qualify for a SX race. KTM did not want that to happen.

I rode one of tiger lacy's arenacross bikes and the suspension was definitely amazing

My friend has a 2006 YZ125 that I ride a lot. I rode it this Saturday. Man, that bike is SO much fun.
