It was a BS move...... Moss had no chance to make a pass there. IMHO

Did TV show all the other shit Moss was doing ? The guy was riding like he had a screw loose under the helmet.

I won't argue that LCQ last corner and desperation moves happen and make great racing but Moss went over that.

Good point - all I have seen is the TV footage. Those at the race would have seen more....

Typical M Moss move, good on Ramsey for apologizing.

Been doing coaching schools, got someone else to post on the aussie site for me. Spoke to Jake first,he said Ryans a top bloke and would be way more pissed that Matt caught him from 6th than what happens in the last corner of an LCQ. Spoke to Matt and he said Nate was upset he crashed and didnt pull the move off successfully,he said Ryan lent in a little more than he expected and his bar bumped his back then Ryans knee got behind the fender and he couldnt steer. He definatly thought he would make it and was just pissed he didnt get to the main.
500 guy, i have lost all respect for you after 2 years of thinking you knew your shit. Read my Post,Matt has 5 consecutive Aus titles, pretty consistant, yes he THOUGHT he had the PASS but Ryan lent in more than he expected and his handlebar caught Ryans back and messed his pass up. I have also respected Ryan as he and Jake Moss were mates and battled together a lot but this little threat by Ryan has changed my mind"I really might have had to whoop him." You do it Ryan, dont mouth it.

Watched this pass on live TV, slowed it down on Tvo, and now looked at the GoPro. There's a time and place for a pass attempt like the one attempted by Moss.....that was the time and place.

If I was Nate Dog and Moss hadn't tried an aggressive pass like that in the LCQ I would have had a ticket back to Australia waiting for him the next day. Good job Moss, you've go nothing to apologize for.

I think everyone is being a little too hard on Moss. He was going for the last spot in the Main on the last lap of the LCQ. He didn't quite execute it correctly, but it was a great ride up to that point. Wish he had been a lot cleaner and that both guys had stayed up but I don't blame the guy for getting kinda desperate.

When you do something like that, it's not rubbing, it's a T-bone. Aggressive racing is easy to see....Sipes and Moss did it for the entire LCQ. That was hard, aggressive racing. Just driving straight over a berm to take somebody out is bullshit, no matter who does it.
you are not a racer are you? i say anything goes in love, war and moto. real racers race...posers post.

Has Moss said anything about it yet?

It looked like to me he went in for a pass, then his brain just stopped working... No idea what he was actually trying to do there... Keen to hear his side of it.

Well enlighten us, Don't just get on here and sprout crap about the shit Moss was supposedly doing. Tell us what YOU think he was doing that the cameras didn't pick up, and that us mere mortals missed, considering the cameras were focused on those two for pretty much the whole race. What did we miss?

Yeah, I’m all for aggressive riding, especially on the last lap of the LCQ, but what didn’t make sense to me was that it looked like had no intention of turning.

(Laughs) No, none. That’s what doesn’t make sense. If I would have left the door open and he had block passed me, good for him; he made the pass. He basically hyper-extended my elbow doing it. It’s one thing that we didn’t make the main, but if we got hurt doing it, I really might have had to whoop him. (Laughs) I mean, it’s uncalled for. We’re professionals; it’s not a local fair race. It’s whatever. We’ll come back next weekend.

Yeah, i had read that previously.

I don`t wanna dwell on it or anything, i am on the "its racing, move on" side of the fence, but i would like to hear more from Matt on it, an actual "interview" would be nice.

I had Moss AND Sipes in my fantasy league picks... #failage

Cool Tman 345. Sorry about your fantasy points, it was a racing move, they got tangled and couldnt control it from there, nothing in it,im sure the comentaters just got it a little wrong on there first look and it got turned into way more than it was.I also wish the guys who interviewed Ryan had also interviewed Matt.

That's no worry to me, Your kid rode like a total idiot, You're so worried about respect you should try teaching your kid some.

if He didn't screw up big time Nate wouldn't be over saying sorry to the Sipes camp and the AMA wouldn't be having a talk with your kid.

"You do it Ryan, don't mouth it."

Has either one of your sons ever won a main event? Finished top five? Finished top 10?

As far as I'm concerned, Ryan "does it" all the time - you're the one mouthing it.

There's sure been a lot of "idiots" in the sport then, that would even include RC back in his early days when he played games with riders and took them out.

This is nothing new for a LCQ. You can also blame the AMA / Feld or whoever for taking only the top 2 positions in the LCQ, the heat races should be top 8 transfer and top 4 LCQ or bring back the semi's which wont happen.

There are alot of good riders out there, but only a few great racers. What do you think RV, James or Ricky would have done in that situation? They're racers, of course they would have gone for an agressive pass in the LCQ and parked Sipes if necessary.

If I managed a race team I'd want racers on my team, not just riders.

Maybe if I was Sipes I wouldn't be happy about the pass attempt, but I'd understand it. LCQ.....make a pass or your not in The Show. WTF do you think these guys are paid to do? That wasn't a dangerous pass, it was an aggressive pass attempt. Part of the game.

Not gonna get in a big debate with you on the internet. You have your opinion, I have mine. My opinion is that Moss was doing his job, and has absolutely nothing to apologize for.

Sipes shouldnt be anywhere near Moss on any last lap. Different caliber riders. Moss has won a few Aussie championships good for him but its big boy time, im not a Moss fan his attitude has always seemed bad to me. Then his father basically challenges Sipes to mess with his boy on a public forum. Gimme a break bud .

I sure am glad the pro racers aren't as immature and idiotic as some of their parents and the fans.
